How to Adjust the Rotating Phase of the Gear, Main Cam
1) Pull out the FFC from the CD MAIN C.B, and then remove the TRAY, ASSY.
2) Set the GEAR, MAIN CAM so that the marking on it is positioned at the protrusion of
the CHAS, MECHA as shown in the drawing below.
3) Reassemble the TRAY,ASSY and insert the FFC back to the CD MAIN C.B.
NOTE : If the phase alignment of the GEAR, MAIN CAM is not correctly performed, it will not
work properly.

CD ELECTRICAL MEASUREMENT
• Perform the measurement after the machine enters the test mode.
• Place the CD mechanism horizontally level.
• Equipment and tools required
1. RF Waveform Check
1) Connect an oscilloscope to test point (IC101 4pin, RF), (IC101 11pin, Vref). 1.6 Vp-p
