University Orientation day anchoring script

Welcome
A very good morning to all the Guests, directors, principal, vice principal,
management & students, and all the respected dignitaries here. It gives me
immerse pleasure to extend you all, very warm greetings on behalf of Superior
college Daska to grace the 1st orientation day program.
Superior College Daska, due to its innovationism, dynamism and persistence for
seeking and adopting innovative methods to improve the quality of higher
education, has now established itself as one of the leading colleges in the area.
I wish to congratulate each of you, first on having secured your university place
and second, for having the good sense to choose to study in the Superior College
Daska. Superior College Daska puts the student at the center of everything it
does; your experience here at Superior College Daska and your success is
important to each and every member of staff who works here.Your arrival at
university marks a new chapter in the story of your life. But this chapter is a bit
different. The preceding chapters were largely written by others – your parents,
guardians, families, teachers and the like. Now you will be the principal author of
the next chapter – you have the opportunity to determine the direction, the plot
and the tempo of your story.
As Rumi said: “You were born with wings. Why prefer to crawl through life?”
This can seem as daunting as it is exciting, as challenging as it is empowering.
But the great thing is that you are doing something that you have chosen to do,
not something that was chosen for you by others. And while you are here at
Superior College Daska you will have the opportunity to learn new things,
acquire new knowledge, develop new skills and enhance your personal attributes
in profound ways that will equip for life after University. I am adleem Ashafq
from English department welcoming all of you to this bright future and in this
orientation as well.
 Recitation
The Holy Quran is a book of guidance and a sea of
knowledge for those who take inspiration from it. As the
word of Allah revealed to the Holy Prophet (S.A.W), it
contains historical parables, jurisprudential information,
ethical advice, and values which we need to instill in our
lives. While the Quran is meant to be a guide for all of
humanity, regardless of creed, identity, cultural background,
age, or gender, we have more potential to learn from its
guidance and knowledge if we purify our hearts. Allah
states,
“There is no doubt that this book is a guide for the pious.”
Muslims can earn great rewards for reciting the Quran and
implementing it in their daily life routine.

In Hadith Prophet (S.A.W) stated that:

“Whoever recites ten Ayahs (verses) in qiyaam will not be
recorded as one of the forgetful. Whoever recites a hundred
Ayahs (verses) in qiyaam will be recorded as one of the
devout, and whoever prays a thousand Ayahs (verses) in
qiyaam will be recorded as one of the muqantareen (those
who pile up good deeds).” (Abu Dawood).
Now I would like call on stage _______________ for the
recitation of holly Quran so all of us can we can earn
Allah’s blessings as The Qur’an will be a proof for us on the
Day of Judgment.!
Now we consider that according to our Pakistani Tradition
any prosperous work should be started with the recitation.
 Naat
Some of the most influential people in our lives are teachers. And
most of us can remember our very first teacher in school, the one
who taught us our ABC’s and the proper rules of the playground.
As we have progressed from toddler to adult, there have been
countless teachers along the way who helped us on our journey to
adulthood and even beyond. The high school math teacher who
helped you to perfect your Algebra or the college professor that
taught you the spirit of debate, the very fabric of our being is
heavily influenced by teachers who guided us in our educational
journeys.
Prophet Muhammad was charged with reciting and conveying the
message of the Quran to all of mankind. However, he was no
ordinary teacher. In fact, he set the ideal standard of education
over a thousand years ago and the effects are still being felt today.
In classrooms all over the world, it is a common practice for
teachers to separate the strong students from the weak. The latter
of which are delegated to less challenging classes that do nothing
to nurture the mind, while the “smarter” students are given every
opportunity to excel.
Prophet Muhammad made no distinction between students based
on intelligence level, or any other classification that separates us
in society. He also never sought to exclude or expel anyone from
the religion of Islam. But rather delivered a message that was all-
inclusive to the whole of mankind. The Prophet Muhammad
said:‘By Allah! If He may guide through you a single man to
Islam, it would be better for you than red camels’. (Al-Bukhari)
By setting this example of inclusion, Muslims have a tangible
example of how to attract others to the Islamic faith. So being
Muslims it is impossible to start an educational event without the blessings of the prophet.
So for naat I would like call upon
Hamd
The glory of Allah's Exalted Name is revealed in everything. Allah's name Rahman
(Beneficent) is the reflection of His beneficence in the state of action and His name
Rahim (Merciful) is the reflection of His mercy in the state of action.
Getting close to our Creator Allah is a fundamental need of every human being. This is
the essence of being.
Having this pursuit in life in-and-of itself provides healing for our chaotic inner selves. It
also leads to priceless gifts like
Allah’s love Greater productivity
Confidence Satisfaction and joy
It is said that: “Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and right doing, there is a field. I will
meet you there.”
Therefore, it is essential to exert mindful effort in seeking closeness to, and blessings
from, your Creator.
Getting closer to Allah requires a few things from you:
Strong intention to get closer to Allah Patience
Consistency & Avoid doing nothing or doing things, not for the sake of Allah
As it’s in Quran:
“…for without a doubt in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find satisfaction.” (Surah
Al-Rad, 13:28)
Rumi said:
"I tried to find Him on the Christian cross, but He was not there
I went to the Temple of the Hindus and to the old pagodas
But I could not find a trace of Him anywhere.
I searched on the mountains and in the valleys
But neither in the heights nor in the depths was I able to find Him.
I went to the Ka'bah in Mecca, but He was not there either.
I questioned the scholars and philosophers but
He was beyond their understanding.
I then looked into my heart and it was there
Where He dwelled that I saw Him
He was nowhere else to be found."

Coordinator
"Coordination is the Essence of Management." I.e. Coordination affects all the functions of
management, viz., Planning, Organizing, and Staffing.
According to Mary Parker Follett, Coordination is the "Plus-value of the group". That is, if
there is good Co-ordination then the combined group achievement will be greater than the
total of the individual achievement, i.e. 2+2=5. This is impossible in the physical world, but
it is possible in human affairs through co-ordination.
It encourages team spirit, It gives proper direction, It facilitates motivation, It makes
optimum utilization of resources, It helps to achieve objectives quickly, It improves relations
in the organization, It leads to higher efficiency and It improves goodwill of the
organization.
Yes I am talking about our coordinator Mr.Asad please do welcome him on stage.

dedication at this institute, we not only give our students the best but also make sustained
efforts to inculcate in them and tough mindset that is determined and passionate for success
and that too whole at the same time maintaining focus on social responsiveness.
In ordinary life we hardly realize that we receive a great deal more than we give and that it is
only with gratitude that life becomes rich, And with those few words of advice I wish you
every success at the college and I am confident that you will find it an immensely rewarding
experience.
