The document discusses principles of counselling such as autonomy, non-maleficence, justice, etc. It also discusses differences between pure and applied social sciences like anthropology, guidance counselling. Several counselling dilemmas are presented related to issues like divorce, relationships, addiction, etc.

Some of the principles discussed include autonomy, non-maleficence, justice, virtue theories and moral theories. Autonomy focuses on client's freedom of choice while non-maleficence means not causing harm to clients.

Pure social sciences involve scientific research while applied social sciences focus on utilizing theories in real life situations. Anthropology and guidance counselling are examples mentioned, with the former as a pure science and latter as applied.
