    Machine Learning Intern (Remote) - Job 

    Description 
    We are looking for outstanding interns to join our machine learning team and work on 
    novel machine learning models, various complex problems and use cases. The work will 
    involve implementing an idea from a research paper and applying latest open source 
    machine learning technologies to real life problems under the guidance of a supervisor.  

    We work very closely with our technology researchers and adapt the direction of our work 
    as exciting new ideas emerge. You will work as part of a team that handles all the 
    processes from data collection, cleaning and preprocessing to training models and 
    deploying them in production.  

    The ideal candidate will be passionate about artificial intelligence and stays up to date with 
    the latest developments in the field. 

    What are we looking for? 


    We  are  looking  for  knowledge  and  experience  in  as  many  of  topics/activities  given  below 
    and a keen interest to learn about the others :

    1. Programming in Python using libraries such as Pandas, NumPy and Scikit-learn. 


    2. Analyse ML algorithms that could be used to solve a given problem and rank them 
    by their success probability. 
    3. Implemented deep learning solutions either commercially or as a personal project. 
    4. Implemented preprocessing or feature engineering on a given dataset. 
    5. Training models and tuning their hyperparameters. 
    6. Knowledge of NLP or Computer Vision on deep learning frameworks such as 
    TensorFlow, Keras or PyTorch. 
    7. Knowledge of version control with branching and merging in GitHub or BitBucket. 
    8. Familiarity with cloud computing. (AWS, Google or Azure). 
    9. Technical writing for writing technical documents, process notes, technical blogs, 
    development stories, etc. 

    Qualification 
    Pursuing Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, 
    Engineering or any other quantitative subject.

    Duration 
    Minimum - 12 weeks. Maximum - 6 months

    Selection procedure 
    The selection process consists of the following steps: 

    1. Shortlisting of Profiles (Resume) 


    Shortlisted based on information provided by you in your resume. 

    2. Coding Round [30 Mins] 


    You will be provided with one or more use cases and data with access to a cloud 
    instance. You will need to write and execute the program to resolve the problem. 

    3. Technical Interview [30 Mins] 


    This will happen if and after you clear the Coding Round. You could be asked 
    questions about technology in general, best practices and approaches and solutions 
    that you used to solve the problem given to you in the coding round. 

    4. Social Discussion 
    This will be a general discussion to understand you better in terms of your team 
    skills and your passion and appetite for technology and growth.
