How to set up your own 3d

printing website to make money

Without any code knowledge
Step 1. Choose and purchase your domain
A domain name is the address that internet users can access your website.
You can buy a domain name on Godaddy.com easily. This step is not
necessary, because you can also buy a domain name in step 2.
Step 2. Purchase web hosting
Some suppliers provide a domain name when you buy web hosting plan. So if you
have not bought a domain name in step 1, you can do that in this step too. But we
recommend you to compare the price. Maybe you can get a cheaper domain name
in step 1.

When purchasing your web hosting package, please ensure it supports

WordPress and SSL well. If you don’t know more about that, you can choose
hosting packages from Siteground or Bluehost.

For example, you can buy a web hosting package on Siteground:

Choose the third plan-WooCommerce Host
As a beginner, the “StartUp” plan is ok. Of course, “GrowBig” plan is better.
If you have bought a domain in step 1, type in your domain name;
If you don’t have a domain name, choose “Register a new Domain”. We
recommend to get a .com domain if possible.
Step 3. Install WordPress
If you bought web hosting from Siteground, or Bluehost, you will find they all offer
a quick install option of WordPress. It is easy to do that.

In this step, maybe you want to have a test before setting up a live website. In
windows OS, you can download and install WampServer. Then you can install
wordpress on you local computer. It is a good way to test your website before
become it live. www.wampserver.com
Step 4. Choose and install WordPress Theme
WordPress offers some themes, you can use one of them directly. You
can browse and install themes from WordPress theme library or some
template markets. There are free and paid themes. You can use a free
theme, but we suggest buying a paid theme. With a paid theme, you
don’t need to spend much time on optimizing the website, you should
pay more attention to your 3d printing business.
If you don’t know what theme you should use for your 3d printing
business, you can visit bit.ly/3dwebsite
Step 5. Install Plugins
There are many plugins. For 3d printing business, you need a relating plugin.
