    Education is for many an escape route away from poverty. In the Philippines,

    however, where a quarter of the population lives below the poverty line that clearly isn’t the

    case. It is a route that millions find blocked. In a remote area of San Guillermo, Isabela, This

    school at the edge of San Guillermo, Isabela teaches children from the remote communities

    of Dimalama, Dilukot, and Dicamay. To say that the school is in the middle of nowhere is an

    understatement. Where the mud had to be cleared before teaching and watering the sea to get

    into school, there were dreams hanging in the clouds. Most children at Burgos East

    Elementary School are content to read and write, and then stop studying, for looking a work

    to help their families. I realized how lucky I am. Because unlike to the video I have an access

    to the transportation wherever I want to go in school, in the mall and etc. And i have a

    support of my family in my study they want to finish school to have a better future, but unlike

    to the video they family contented that their child is learn how to read and how to write then

    after than they have work to help their family in the young age. So that the Burgos East

    Elementary school have high dropout rate The Burgos East teachers are not spared from this

    difficult terrain. Much of their time depends on risks posed by rivers and landslides. But their

    greater foe is more powerful than the forces of nature- and much harder to fight. They have to

    battle school absenteeism.

    In the middle of the documentary there was a teacher that also inspired me as a future

    educator his name his Sir Jun teaching grade 5 student of that school. In that day Sir Jun have

    two student that is absent that day and one of them is a top student of that class his name is
    Aquino. And Sir Jun have to go in Aquino house to ask Aquino what the reason why he is

    absent is. Sir Jun arrives in the place of Aquino but the children is out of their house.

    Aquino’s father tell that Aquino is in the farm and take care with his carabao. And Sir Jun is

    go to farm to talk with Aquino, Sir Jun found out that Aquino is want to go in school but he is

    have no choice to take care the carabao to help their parents. I realize that I am luck, As a

    future educator the life of the children of that elementary school is not easy but because of

    their dreams all them are desire to learn. They believe that the education is I believe

    education is the most important tool you can receive, that can bring you most success in

    society today. Education lessens the challenges you will face in life. The more knowledge

    you gain the more opportunities will open up to allow individuals to achieve better

    possibilities in career and personal growth. Education has played an important role in the

    career world of the twenty-first century. A person with a higher education will be easily

    qualified compared to a person without an extended education; as one will be prepared to do

    various tasks that careers demand as well as meet job standards.
