As compared to DHL, Agility should aim at improving divisions by modernizing their IT systems because

their competitors are as well making efforts to keep pace with technological advancements. DHL is said
to have plans of investing about €2 billion through 2025 to advance to new technologies ( Woźniakowski,
Zmarzłowski & Nowakowska, 2018). This will involve process automation, widening data application,
training employees on the latest technology, linking DHL business with new technologies, among others.
Adoption of new technology by DHL offers it a competitive edge over Agility company, and therefore
there is the need for Agility to up their game and automate their operations to ensure quality services
within a short time and at affordable prices.

Agility should differentiate their services from those of DHL by adding new features on its services. They
should develop an e-commerce supply chain which will offer a single element on a global chain through
its well-established chains across the world. Automation will help Agility to reduce many mistakes made
by human beings, improved customer service, speed and scalability. For instance, warehouse
automation will allow easy entry into systems with the software developed. Additionally, consolidation
of all logistic invoices into a single weekly invoice will be enhanced regardless of having many shipments
in various locations (Więcek et al., 2019).
