Why Is Human Resource Planning Important?
Human Resources planning refer to a process by which management can evaluate manpower
position. Through planning, management can determine the right number and the right kinds of
people, at the right place, at the right time, to get maximum long-run benefits.
Already assign by a top line manager who has competence in human resource management. In
encouraging the development of the organization at this time, many have played a role from the HR
department that is automated in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System) system. The role
of the HR or HR department in the future is no longer directly touching every employee in the
organization, but rather playing a role as a facilitator and partner for managers. The manager's role
in the future should no longer focus solely on operational activities, but also focus and be involved in
human resource management. Therefore, the role of the manager in the future is being able to
become an "HRM champion" for their respective fields.
Human resource management is a tool to understand capabilities and improve the productivity of
organizational functions. Therefore, its focus remains on the pursuit of organizational goals."It must
support organizations by outlining and achieving clearly defined objectives. In addition to achieving
organizational goals, human resource management often identifies key issues that need to be
resolved and regulates laws and emergency situations. By recruiting productive employees,
educating them and managing employees effectively, the efficiency of the organization is improved.
