My Philosophy in Life
In this life, there are three kinds of people; writers who write their own story, the strong-
willed ones who decide what they want for their lives. Then the actors who act accordingly to the
roles given to them. And lastly, the audiences who does nothing but watch how things happen
until the end. Among these kinds, I could say that I am both the writer and the actor of my own
life. I decide what I do and face the consequences of my actions. And if there is something right
that I believe in, I will stand and fight for it whatever it takes.
I am one of a kind and no one else. I am myself and do the things I do because of me, not
because of anyone else. If I ever find myself being displeased because of something I have done,
I will realize that the behavior has to be changed by me and no one else. The only person that I
can expect to do anything is myself because I will not let anyone decide and control me.
My Philosophy in Nursing
Nursing is an art. Like any other profession, it needs strong passion and commitment.
Passion that drives us to strive and become an efficient healthcare provider and commitment or
our willingness to commit on this path we have chosen to take. As the forefront in providing
healthcare, we must possess the attributes that a good nurse must have; high standards of
professionalism, never-ending diligence and exceptional communication skills.
By having these attributes, we can be more than what we are as nurses. We can provide
the best healthcare that our patients need. With this, we can change how people view our
profession. Because we are not just nurses. We are more than that.
