Oral: Highly toxic that causes fall of blood pressure, nausea and
dizziness
Eye: Immediately flush with running water for 15 minutes. Seek a doctor or ophthalmologist immediately.
Skin: Wipe off from skin and wash immediately with soap and water. If irritation persists, call a doctor.
Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. If breathing is difficult, oxygen is required. If persists, seek medical attention.
In the event of fire, use fire full protective clothing. Evacuate the
area where ire occurs according to local emergency plan. Use
Fire Fighting Procedure: water to cool fire exposed containers.
Skin: Wear protective clothing. Do not use open shoes. Use lab shoes,
gloves and lab gown to prevent skin contact.
Personal Protective Equipment for Routine Handling
Inhalation: Use respiratory protection unless adequate local exhaust
ventilation is provided or air sampling data show exposures are within
recommended exposure guidelines. Industrial Hygiene Personnel can
assist in judging the adequacy of existing engineering controls.
Skin: Wash during breaktime and end of shift. Change clothing and
wash it thoroughly before using. Flush affected area with water. Use
Personal Protective Equipment for Spills gloves to protect skin contact.
