MY HOMETOWN
“There is no place like home," this is a well-known used
quotation that is used by every one of us. Some of us have our own hometown, and I have one. We know that the Philippines is well-known for its many attractive islands, but despite the hundred islands that it offers, there are still a few which seem to stand above the rest, and for me, it is my hometown.
My hometown is in the Island Garden City of Samal (IGACOS),
this is where I grew up and spent half of my childhood life. Every year I go to my hometown to have a summer vacation and to celebrate Christmas and the New Year. I spend my summer going out with my cousins, playing, and bonding with them. Also, Samal is a popular destination for foreign and local visitors because there’s a lot of different beach resorts here one beach that we went to last summer was in the Coco Beach Resort, and that beach had clear blue waters and white sandy beaches. I have a lot of fun taking pictures, swimming, playing, seeing the sunset, and spending time with my family and relatives. This place is a perfect gateway for those people who seek quiet seclusion and privacy away from the hassle and bustle of city life. All of this, I hope next summer after this pandemic, I can be able to spend my summer vacation in my hometown.
