I. RATIONATE
ln view with the RO Xl Order No. 2015-0001 dated January 21,2OL5, office policy on
designated duties and functions of the NDPs and RHMPP are hereby desiBned to align said
HRHS to their respective duties and functions without overlapping or duplicating their
works. Thus, proper delineation of assignments are crafted for the said purpose to focus on
administrative and other operational matters and to provide mechanism for program
monitoring and evaluation of the said human resources.
1.1. As provided for in the Seneral guidelines for HRH deployment by the DoH-central
office, all deployed nurses shall strictly adhere to the terms and conditions of the
Contract of Services entered into with the DOH Xl;
1.2. Observe the ethical standards of a public servant as provided for under the existing
civil rules and regulations; and abide other LGU's administrative policies as deemed
applicable;
1.3. The deployed nurses assigned in the Rural Health Unit shall perform the following
duties:
1.3.2. Train and supervise the Community Health Teams ( CHTS) of the DOH;
1.3.3. Assist the midwife in health service provision such as immunization, family
planning; pre and post natal care and other related tasks as directed by the Regional
Director;
1.3.3 Shall assist the LGU in the advocacy of good health practices such as the
conduct of parent's class;
1.3.4 Shall prepare the payroll; validate the data/ report submitted by the CHT;
1.3.5 Shall facilitate submission of reports such as CHT, RHIS and other special
reports and ensure the timely submission of the same.
1.4. NDPS assigned in the birthing facilities shall render regular40 hrs per week duty or
in the exigency of service may extend the same but be entitled to off duty and upon
supervision of the regular staff shall perform the following:
1.4.1. Assist the regular midwife in attending to pregnant women during labors and
deliveries in the birthing facilities;
1.4.2. Follow-up mothers during post deliveries in their residence;
1.4.3. Conduct lecture on different health programs and other advocacies;
1.5 Promptly submit the required data, feedback or reports to the supervising LGUS; the
DMo's or the DoH RO xl upon direction thereof for purposes of program evaluation;
progress monitoring or for compensation;
2.1. As provided for in the general guidelines for HRH deployment by the DoH-central
office, all deployed midwives shall strictly adhere to the terms and conditions of the
Contract of Services entered into with the DOH xl;
2.2. Observe the ethical standards of a public servant as provided for under the existing
civil rules and regulations; and abide other LGU'S administrative policies as deemed
applicable;
2.3. The deployed midwives assigned in the birthing facilities shall assist the rural health
midwives and shall perform work at a time and schedule agreed by them;
2.5. Shall submit Daily Time Records ( DTRs) duly signed by the MHO to the HRDU
including monthly accomplishment report;
2.7 Submit a semestral performance Evaluation Report to the LCE and the HRDU;
3.1. Monitoring checklist shall be provided to the NDps and RHMpps for monthly
compliance and submission, to wit:
3'2 There shall be an assigned NDp and RHMpp to consolidate the report at the RHU level
and submit the consolidated report to the Region for the use of the RHls, planning and Kp
CHT.
