Template Details
You can edit most of the content under View -> Normal. For you to easily add your own images
I have created master slides for all such content. Under View -> Normal just replace the dummy
text with yours (ctrl+a and replace text). If you want to edit page number or footer, you can do
this under Slide Master view and by editing the 'Title Only Layout' (second slide).
Images
All images have been removed from this template and you will see image placeholders on
where you can add images. To add an image, just click on the image icon and choose your
image.
If you are not happy with the part of the image showing, you can edit it by right clicking the
image and choose -> Format Picture. To reposition the picture selection, go to the Crop tab and
edit the Offset X or Y settings.
Circle images: If the image doesn't look right, fix this by clicking the image, then choosing
Format tab -> Crop -> Fit and then click the crop button again.
If the image goes on top of other elements on the page, fix this by right clicking the image and
choose Send Back from the options.
To edit the colors in bulk go to Design -> Colors. To edit your current theme colors go to Create
New Theme Colors (or customize colors on PP2013) and it will have the current theme colors
used available for you to edit and save. This way you can easily just change few colors and keep
the rest. After saving the color scheme, it will appear under Custom section in the beginning of
the dropdown. From this dropdown you can add the color scheme to any of your future
PowerPoint Templates. You can always come back and re-edit these colors by right clicking on
the color set and choosing Edit. You can also choose a completely new color scheme from the
built in options.
1. First get your font icons, you can try some of these:
- https://useiconic.com/open/
2. To add a font icon, go to Insert -> Text box, once you have created the text box and it’s
active (cursor still blinking in the box) go back to Insert and choose Symbol. Now choose
Font Awesome from the font drop down menu, choose your icon and click Insert and
then Close.
Tables
Some of the tables may have data filled in, to empty the cells in bulk, select the cells and press
delete.
Charts
The charts on this template work together with Excel. To edit the numbers and charts click on
the chart to make it active and go to -> Design -> Edit Data. You can add rows in the Excel view
to add more data in your chart. Under the design tab you can also edit the color and style of the
chart.
