CHAPTER I
INTRODUCTION
Career pathways models have been adopted at the federal, state and local
levels. Given their cross-system nature, states often combine multiple federal streams
to fund different elements of career pathways models.
Curious about how a career path works? The first thing to know is that while it
includes the jobs, you’ll need to hit your ultimate career goal, a career path doesn’t need
to be a straight line. There’s no blueprint or timetable for climbing the career ladder.
Your career path will be as individual as you are. You may take a very different route
than your colleagues and wind up in the same spot.
The study aims to know what happend in the students when they graduates in
Senior high. To give an information to the students while taking TVL Strand.
With the help of the gathered data, the researchers was determined to what
happened in the TVL-Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) student when they
graduates in Senior High.
This study will be conducted to determine the Career Paths of Jose Abad Santos
(Senior) High School TVL-Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) Students Graduates of
S.Y. 2018-2019. with a total of 10 students as the respondents of this study. Random
Sampling will be used and each respondent will be randomly picked. The research
study will be conducted inside the Jose Abad Santos High School.
Proposing Career Paths of Jose Abad Santos (Senior) High School TVL-
Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) Students Graduates of S.Y. 2018-2019 will be a
great help for the following beneficiaries:
The main objective of the study is to know the Career Paths of Jose Abad Santos
(Senior) High School TVL-Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) Students Graduates of
S.Y. 2018-2019 specifically sought to answer the following questions:
1. What is the profile of the students of Jose Abad Santos (Senior) High School TVL
Graduates of S.Y. 2017-2018 and S.Y. 2018-2019.?
2. What are the Career Paths Jose Abad Santos (Senior) High School TVL
Graduates of S.Y. 2017-2018 and S.Y. 2018-2019.?
3. Preferred Career Paths.?
Theoretical/Conceptual Framework
Employability - refers to the attributes of a person that make that person able to gain
and maintain employment.
Curriculum Adjustment-In this study, the term refers to the new set ofactivities and
trends integrated in the implementation of the k to 12 program.

CITATION
K-12 curriculum
The Social Adaptation Theory of Kahle et. al., 1985 applies Neo-Piagetian
concepts to such content areas as attitude change and advertising effectiveness. It
assumes that the schemata grow as a result of dynamic adaptation through assimilation
and accommodation, as well as through internal organization of information. Adaptation
rather than rationality animates change.
Kahle’s social adaptation theory is relative in this study considering that the core
of the study ascertains the awareness, preparedness and needs of the K to 12 Senior
High School modeling implementation in Eastern Visayas specifically the Palo National
High School and the Merida Vocational School which are both located at the province of
Leyte.
This study pursued by describing profile of the modeling school implementing the
Senior High School program; ascertaining the awareness, preparedness and needs of
the implementers of the K to 12 Senior High School modeling program in Eastern
Visayas.
TEACHER SUPERVISION
PERSONAL EXPERIENCE
Undergraduate: for many, it’s party time! Postgraduate: dedicated work, perhaps
some feelings of isolation. It is easy to fall into the trap of thinking that undergraduates
do no work and come to university to have three years’ worth of socialising! Of course
this is definitely not true and most undergraduates do work really hard. But it would be
fair to say that social activities and hobbies are a big focus in an undergraduate’s life.
This is not so true for postgraduates. They are less likely to live in university
accommodation and more likely to live at home with families or pre-existing groups of
friends. The fact that their degree is shorter and the work is more challenging (not to
mention postgraduates being a few years older) means that their minds are generally
more focussed on work. In fact, sometimes postgraduates can become a little isolated.
Universities and students’ unions provide fewer facilities for postgraduates to meet each
other. And the very nature of the study means that students are often working alone.
So, the risk of loneliness is high if you are living outside the university, especially so if
you are doing a distance-learning course of the type discussed in this e-learning article.
However, if you are dedicated to your course and take every opportunity that your
university offers to engage with other students in the postgraduate community, you
should be able to combat these feelings of isolation.
Courses and program of Jose abad santos Choosing the right program can help
to set the future goals of student and visualize where the student want to be. Whether to

Research Instruments
The respondents are ten (10) students from the strand of TVL-Shielded Metal
Arc Welding (SMAW) Course. We selected the participants of this study through quota
sampling techniques. All respondents are graduated int Jose Abad Santos Senior High
School. They graduates in S.Y. 2018-2019 of the mentioned strand who has
experienced the TVL-VOC course.
The respondents of the research were the TVL-SMAW students of Jose Abad
Santos Senior High School. Random sampling was used in the study. Each
respondents was randomly picked and entirely by chance. A total of 10 graduates were
selected.
In order to get the data to form this study, the researcher will conduct a survey
form or the data gathering process to determine the needed answer for this study. But
before anything else, the respondents will ask first for the permission of the head of

. This table shows the distribution of the ages of the participants. There are no
respondents who are 26 years and over. There are 17 respondents whose age ranged
from 19 to 25 and 3 respondents are above 18 years old. With the help of the survey,
researchers conclude that there is a large number of TVL-Shielded Metal Arc graduated
whose age is ranged from 19 to 25 years old.
