The document discusses issues related to energy sources and the environment. It notes that continuing heavy reliance on fossil fuels risks potential environmental crises from pollution and climate change. However, switching to renewable energy comes with economic costs and risks of economic downturn. There is debate around whether to prioritize environmental safety or economic stability. The document also outlines how demand for electricity is increasing worldwide due to population growth and technology, which risks depleting fossil fuel reserves and worsening pollution problems unless renewable sources are adopted. Finally, it advocates that to meet modern energy needs sustainably, systems should incorporate a diversity of energy sources including renewable options like solar, wind and hydropower.

energy sources and how should we use energy
1.How would the human race react to an environmental crisis where
the air in the atmosphere is barely breathable? What would happen if there is an epidemic that could kill off animals, and even humans, all because the world would not switch to more of a harmless source of energy? Switching sources could also cause the economy to plumate mainly because of how expensive it will be. Also, it will depend on if all of the main countries throughout the world switch as well. At any point, an environmental disaster could happen caused by the overuse of fossil fuels, but is it worth switching to a safer source, but not as efficient and cost effective just to try to prevent a disaster that may never happen? The question still stands if the world will decide to go the safe route and risk going into a depression, continue using fossil fuels as a main source of energy. 2.Throughout history, people have used fossil fuels for heat, to run equipment such as trains with the use of coal, and various other things. Before technology, no one really knew too much about what consequences there could possibly be by using fossil fuels. As technology advanced, individuals started studying and learning different types of ways to produce energy. As time progressed, “pollution levels increased, and the world’s fossil fuel are used more and more each year” 3.The increasing demand for electricity has led, in recent years, the investment of time and resources for research and development of renewable energy sources, mainly on the part of more developed countries. As demand for electricity is increasing, due to technological developments and population growth, conventional fossil fuels gradually depleted and environmental problems such as air pollution, global warming and unhealthy living conditions in major urban centers continue to swell 4.It is now accepted that in order to meet modern energy needs should be a diversity in energy production. The power modes should be directed to environmentally friendly technologies and ensuring low production costs. For the above reasons, renewable energy sources (RES) should have a significant share in this versatile production system. Unlike conventional sources, such as coal and oil, RES considered practically inexhaustible and their use does not burden the environment. Wind power, solar energy, small hydro, fuel cells, energy of sea waves, geothermal energy and biomass energy are the main sources of sustainable energy. So people should save the energy to make the life better
There are some ways to save energy
Turn off the fan when you leave a room.
Close your drapes or drop your window shades during the day. Wash your clothes in cold water. Wrap or cover foods and drinks in the refrigerator. Always use the cold water faucet, unless you really want hot water.
