    1. Handouts - The reading material given to the audience during the presentation
    2. Hyperlink - A link to a slide, a web page, an email or any other program.
    3. Animations - Special effects that are added in a presentation.
    4. Insert - A menu where table option is present.
    5. Reusing Slides - An option with which slides can be picked from another presentation.

    C. State the difference between:


    1. Slide Transition and Slide Animation
    Slide Transition - A Transition is a tool in Microsoft PowerPoint that creates movement in the slides as
    one slide changes to another during a presentation.
    Slide Animation - Slide animations are similar to transitions, but they are applied to individual elements on a
    single slide—a title, chart, image, or individual bullet point. Animations can make a presentation more lively and
    memorable.

    2. Template and Theme


    Template – It is facility which provides ideas for the presentation through suggested content and layout.
    Theme – It is a blank presentation with already designed colours and graphics for the slides.

    3. Notes Page Master and Slide Master


    Notes Page Master – It displays the speaker notes for each slide.
    Slide Master – It is a template slide on which the text/logo/Image/fonts/header/footer common to all
    Slides can be put up. It can change the look of all the slides in a presentation.

    4. Insert Charts and Insert Tables


    Insert Charts – If we want to display or analyze the data in a pictorial format we can use charts in
    MS PowerPoint 2010.
    Insert Tables – When the data is represented in the form of rows and columns then it makes a table.
    Tables can also be inserted in a presentation.

    5. Merge cells and Split Cells


    Merge Cells – It combines the selected cells into the specified number of rows and columns.
    Split Cells – Splits the selected cells into the desired number of cells.

    D. Answer the following questions.
    1. How would you show an external document in a running presentation?
    Ans – By Creating Hyperlinks we can show an external document in a running presentation.

    2. What is the importance of reuse slides in MS PowerPoint 2010?


    Ans – Sometimes we require data from an already saved presentation. In such a case, we can reuse
    the slides in the existing presentation.

    3. What do you understand by Slide Master in MS PowerPoint 2010?


    Ans - It is a template slide on which the text/logo/Image/fonts/header/footer common to all
    Slides can be put up. It can change the look of all the slides in a presentation.

    4. Differentiate between Notes master and Handout master.


    Ans – Notes Master displays the speaker notes for each slide. They are not the part of the presentation,
    so the audience will not see them.
    Handouts are the printed materials given to the audience during the presentation.

    5. Why do you need to insert Charts in PowerPoint presentation? Give examples from real life.
    Ans – When the data is represented in the form of rows and columns then it makes a table.
    Tables can also be inserted in a presentation.
    Graphs are used in everyday life, from the local newspaper to the magazine stand. It is one of those skills
    that you simply cannot do without. Whatever your need or calculation, if used correctly, a graph can help
    you and make your life simpler.
