DESIGN BASIS
We understand that you will require softening plant-having capacity of 120m3/hr on a

continuous basis. Please note that the plant is designed based on the raw water analysis.

Please note that any change of parameters of raw water will affect the quantity / quality
of treated water. To achieve optimum quality and quantity of treated water the plant
should be run without interruption.

ANNEXURE – C
TREATMENT SCHEME
The raw water will be first passed through a Oxidizing Chamber (OXC) for oxidize iron then fed to a
coarse filter like Multigrade sand filter(MGF) for the removal of Iron & suspended impurities . The
treated water after passed through the Multigrade filter then passed through a Softener vessel(SF) for
the removal of hardness present in it.
The hardness causing ions viz, calcium & magnesium present in the inlet water will be replaced with
sodium ions available on the resin & thus soft water is obtained at outlet of softener.
The soft water will be then taken to the point of use.

Our price for Design, Engineering & Supply of water Treatment plant of capacity 120m3/hr. is
BD (Tk) : 33,50,000.00 (Thirty Three Lac Fifty Thousand Taka Only

(Except All Taxes).
Validity of offer:
30 Days from the date of the submission.
Payment:
1) 60% Advance payment by cross cheque or cash payment along with work order.
2) 30% payment at the time of taking delivery.
3) 10% Payment after successful commissioning of the plant.
Delivery:
Delivery of the equipments shall be done in a period of 60 working days from the date of receipt of
work order & advance.
Warranty:
The machines are under warranty for any design-manufacturing defect for a period of 12 months from
the date of commissioning.
