NOTES

• Tee is worked flat from the bottom up in 2 identical pieces. After blocking, the shoulders are
seamed using the three-needle BO method. Sts are picked up around the neck and sleeves and
worked in the round to complete the trim.
• The first st of every row is slipped until the beginning of the lace section. From that point, work
the first st of every row (k or p) as written.
• See a video of how to work the lace pattern here.

FINISHING

Hold front and back pieces together so that the right sides are facing each other and wrong sides
are on the outside. Return the right shoulder sts to your needles and use the three-needle BO
method to join. Watch a video of this technique here. Repeat with the left shoulder. Using the
seaming method of your choice (here is a mattress stitch tutorial), seam the sides up to the armhole.

Neck: With smaller size 16" needle and beginning at back right shoulder, pick up and knit 130 sts
around the neckline. PM to note beginning of round.
Rnd 1: P to end of rnd.
Rnd 2: K to end of rnd.
Work rnds 1 and 2 a total of 2 times. BO all sts purlwise.

Sleeves: With smaller size 16" needle and beginning at underarm, pick up and knit 116, (116, 124,
124, 128,128) sts around each armhole. PM to note beginning of round.
Rnd 1: P to end of rnd.
Rnd 2: K to end of rnd.
Work rnds 1 and 2 a total of 2 times. BO all sts purlwise.

If you already blocked your pieces before seaming, you may or may not choose to spot block the
neck and sleeve trim. If you haven't yet blocked your garment, do so now to open the lace pattern
and set the size and trim as desired.
