Public universities in the country have both advantages and disadvantages for students. The advantages include an inclusive admission model, scholarship programs, support for student equity and services like housing, healthcare and tutoring. However, the disadvantages are few paid internship opportunities, less access to equipment and technology, and less personalized attention due to large class sizes. Overall, higher education is important for social mobility and equal opportunities, so improving education quality and aligning programs with job market needs is important.

Fullname: COLORADO QUISPE, Liz Gaby
A good educational system creates greater equity and shared prosperity at the social level. Through higher education, a country builds a skilled workforce and strengthens the ability to generate knowledge and innovation, which in turn drives productivity and economic growth. In the country, higher education is given by several public universities, which apart from generating benefits also has disadvantages. The advantages of studying at a public university is that they have an inclusive and equitable admission model, there is a scholarship system for socioeconomic status, academic performance, relevant participation in artistic, sports groups or in the student movement, there is support for student equity , the integral formation of the students, since they are given the opportunity to be assistants or volunteers in projects of great social and environmental impact in different communities of the country, the students have access to free services such as residencies, general medicine, dentistry, psychology, recreation, tutoring, among others, and affordable quality careers. The disadvantages are the few paid internships, since the public university does not have job boards and this hurts the student when he wants to carry out internships for his training and also when he wants to find work for his degree, he has fewer resources in terms of equipment and technology material Less personalized attention since there are many more students and the monitoring of the student's evolution is not so personalized. Higher education plays a very important role for vertical mobility, as well as to ensure equal opportunities; therefore, the quality of education must be improved, providing students with programs in accordance with the reality of the labor market.
