There’s somethin’ ‘bout the way So baby drive slow ‘til we run out of road

The street looks when it’s just rained In this one horse town, I wanna stay right here
There’s a glow off the pavement In this passenger seat
You walk me to the car You put your eyes on me
And you know I wanna ask you to dance right there In this moment now
In the middle of the parking lot, yeah, oh yeah Capture it, remember it
We’re drivin’ down the road REPEAT CHORUS…Oh oh
I wonder if you know
I’m tryin’ so hard not to get caught up now Well you stood there with me in the doorway
But you’re just so cool, run your hands through your hair My hands shake, I’m not usually this way but
Absent mindedly makin’ me want you You pull me in and I’m a little more brave
It’s a first kiss, it’s flawless, really somethin’
CHORUS It’s fearless, oh oh oh oh yeah
And I don’t know how it gets better than this
You take my hand and drag me head first REPEAT CHORUS 2 TIMES
Fearless Oh, oh…Oh yeah
And I don’t know why but with you I’d dance
In a storm in my best dress…Fearless

You take a deep breath and you walk through the doors And when you’re fifteen and your first kiss
It’s the morning of your very first day Makes your head spin ‘round but
You say hi to your friends you ain’t seen in a while But in your life you’ll do things greater than
Try and stay out of everybody’s way Dating the boy on the football team
It’s your freshman year and you’re gonna be here But I didn’t know it at fifteen
For the next four years in this town
Hopin’ one of those senior boys will wink at you and say When all you wanted was to be wanted
You know I haven’t seen you around, before Wish you could go back
And tell yourself what you know now
CHORUS
Cause when you’re fifteen and Back then I swore I was gonna marry him someday
Somebody tells you they love you But I realized some bigger dreams of mine
You’re gonna believe them And Abigail gave everything she had to a boy
And when you’re fifteen, feeling like Who changed his mind
There’s nothing to figure out And we both cried
Well count to ten, take it in
This is life before you know CHORUS
Who you’re gonna be…Fifteen Cause when you’re fifteen and written by Taylor Swift
Somebody tells you they love you
You sit in class next to a redhead named Abigail You’re gonna believe them
And soon enough you’re best friends And when you’re fifteen, don’t forget to look before you fall
Laughing at the other girls who think they’re so cool I’ve found time can heal most anything
We’ll be out of here as soon as we can And you just might find who you’re supposed to be
And then you’re on your very first date and he’s got a car I didn’t know who I was supposed to be…At fifteen
And you’re feeling like flyin’
And your mamma’s waitin’ up and you’re thinkin’ he’s the one La la la, la la la…La la la la…La la la, la la la
And you’re dancin’ ‘round your room when the night ends La la la la…La la la, la la la
When the night ends
Your very first day…You take a deep breath girl
CHORUS You take a deep breath as you walk through the doors
Cause when you’re fifteen and
Somebody tells you they love you
You’re gonna believe them © 2008 Sony/ATV Tree Publishing, Taylor Swift Music (BMI). All rights reserved. Used by permission.
We were both young when I first saw you It’s a Love Story baby just say yes
I closed my eyes and the flashback starts Romeo save me they’re tryin’ to
I’m standing there on a balcony in Summer air tell me how to feel
I see the lights see the party the ball gowns This love is difficult but it’s real
I see you make your way through the crowd Don’t be afraid we’ll make it out of this mess
and say hello It’s a Love Story baby just say yes oh oh
Little did I know
That you were Romeo you were throwing pebbles I got tired of waitin’
‘Till my Daddy said “Stay away from Juliet” Wonderin’ if you were ever comin’ around
And I was crying on the staircase beggin’ My faith in you was fadin’
you please don’t go When I met you on the outskirts of town…
And I said And I said

CHORUS CHORUS
Romeo take me somewhere we can be alone Romeo save me I’ve been feelin’ so alone
I’ll be waitin’ all that’s left to do is run I keep waitin’ for you but you never come
You be the Prince and I’ll be the Princess Is this in my head I don’t know what to think
It’s a Love Story baby just say yes He knelt to the ground and pulled
out a ring and said
So I sneak out to the garden to see you Marry me Juliet you never have to be alone
We keep quiet cause we’re dead if they I love you and that’s all I really know
knew so close your eyes I talked to your Dad go pick out a white dress
Escape this town for a little while oh oh oh It’s a Love Story baby just say yes
Cause you were Romeo, I was a Scarlet Letter
And my Daddy said stay away from Juliet Oh oh…Oh oh…Cause we were
But you were everything to me both young when I first saw you

lOvE sToRY
I was beggin’ you please don’t go…And I said

CHORUS
Romeo take me somewhere we can be alone
I’ll be waiting all that’s left to do is run written by Taylor Swift

White Horse
written by Taylor Swift and Liz Rose

Say you’re sorry, that face of an angel REPEAT CHORUS

Comes out just when you need it to
As I paced back and forth all this time And there you are on your knees
Cause I honestly believed in you Beggin’ for forgiveness, beggin’ for me
Holdin’ on the days drag on Just like I always wanted
Stupid girl, I shoulda known But I’m so sorry
I shoulda known
Cause I’m not your princess, this ain’t a fairytale
CHORUS I’m gonna find someone someday
That I'm not a princess, this ain’t a fairy tale Who might actually treat me well
I’m not the one you’ll sweep off her feet This is a big world, that was a small town
Lead her up the stairwell There in my rearview mirror disappearin’ now
This ain’t Hollywood, this is a small town And it’s too late for you and your white horse
I was a dreamer before you went and Now it’s too late for you and your white horse
let me down To catch me now
Now it’s too late for you and your white horse
To come around Oh, whoa, whoa, whoa oh
Try and catch me now, oh
Maybe I was naïve, got lost in your eyes It’s too late to catch me now
And never really had a chance
My mistake, I didn’t know to be in love
You had to fight to have the upper hand
I had so many dreams about you and me © 2008 Sony/ATV Tree Publishing, Taylor Swift Music (BMI) / Sony/ATV Timber Publishing,

You’re on the phone with your girlfriend If you could see that I’m the one who understands you
She’s upset, she’s going off about something that you said Been here all along so why can’t you see
Cause she doesn’t get your humor like I do You belong with me
Standin’ by waitin’ at your back door
I’m in the room it’s a typical Tuesday night All this time how could you not know baby
I’m listening to the kind of music she doesn’t like You belong with me
And she’ll never know your story like I do You belong with me

But she wears short skirts, I wear t-shirts Oh I remember you drivin’ to my house in the middle of the night
She’s cheer captain and I’m on the bleachers I’m the one who makes you laugh when you know you’re ‘bout to cry
Dreamin’ ‘bout the day when you’ll wake up and find I know your favorite songs and you tell me ‘bout your dreams
That what you’re lookin’ for has been here the whole time I think I know where you belong, I think I know it’s with me

If you could see that I’m the one who understands you Can’t you see that I’m the one who understands you
Been here all along so why can’t you see Been here all along so why can’t you see
You belong with me You belong with me
You belong with me Standin’ by waitin’ at your back door
All this time how could you not know baby
Walkin’ the streets with you in your worn out jeans You belong with me
I can’t help thinkin’ this is how it ought to be You belong with me
Laughin’ on a park bench thinkin’ to myself, hey isn’t this easy You belong with me
Have you ever thought just maybe
You belong with me
And you’ve got a smile that could light up this whole town You belong with me
I haven’t seen it in a while since she brought you down
You say you’re fine I know you better than that
Hey whatcha doin’ with a girl like that

She wears high heels, I wear sneakers

She’s cheer captain and I’m on the bleachers
Dreamin’ ‘bout the day when you’ll wake up and find
That what you’re lookin’ for has been here the whole time

REPEAT CHORUS

It’s 2am, feelin’ like I just lost a friend

Hope you know it’s not easy, easy for me
written by Taylor Swift and Colbie Caillat It’s 2am, feelin’ like I just lost a friend
Hope you know this ain’t easy, easy for me
I see your face in my mind as I drive away
Cause none of us thought it was gonna end that way CHORUS
People are people and sometimes we change our minds And we know it’s never simple, never easy
But it’s killin’ me to see you go after all this time Never a clean break, no one here to save me
Mmm mmm mmm Oh, I can’t breathe without you, but I have to
Mmm mmm mmm mmm mmm Breathe without you, but I have to
Mmm mmm mmm Breathe without you, but I have to
Mmm mmm mmm mmm mmm
I’m sorry, I’m sorry
Music starts playing like the end of a sad movie I’m sorry, yeah I’m sorry
It’s the kind of ending you don’t really wanna see I’m sorry, I’m sorry
Cause its tragedy and it’ll only bring you down I’m sorry
Now I don’t know what to be without you around

CHORUS
And we know it’s never simple, never easy
Never a clean break, no one here to save me
You’re the only thing I know like the back of my hand
And I can’t breathe without you, but I have to
Breathe without you, but I have to

Never wanted this, never wanted to see you hurt

I took a chance, I took a shot Yes, I remember what you said last night
And you might think I’m bulletproof, but I’m not And I know that you see what you’re doin’ to me
You took a swing, I took it hard Tell me why
And down here from the ground I see who you are
Why-i-i, do you have to make me feel small
I’m sick and tired of your attitude So you can feel whole inside
I’m feelin’ like I don’t know you Why, do you have to put down my dreams
You tell me that you love me then cut me down So you’re the only thing on my mind
And I need you like a heartbeat
But you know you got a mean streak I’m sick and tired of your attitude
Makes me run for cover when you’re around I’m feeling like I don’t know you
And here’s to you and your temper You tell me that you want me then cut me down
Yes, I remember what you said last night I’m sick and tired of your reasons
And I know that you see what you’re doin’ to me I’ve got no one to believe in
Tell me why You ask me for my love then you push me around
Here’s to you and your temper
You could write a book on how to ruin someone’s Yes, I remember what you said last night
perfect day And I know that you see what you’re doin’ to me
Well I get so confused and frustrated Tell me why
Forget what I’m tryin’ to say, oh oh Why, tell me why

I’m sick and tired of your reasons I take a step back, let you go
I got no one to believe in I told you I’m not bulletproof
You tell me that you want me then push me around Now you know
And I need you like a heartbeat
But you know you got a mean streak

All this time I was wastin’ hopin’ you would come around
I’ve been giving out chances every time
And all you do is let me down
You had me crawlin’ for you honey
And it never would’ve gone away no
You used to shine so bright but
,
Youre
And it’s taken me this long baby but I figured you out I watched all of it fade

Not
And you think it will be fine again but not this time around
CHORUS

Sorry
CHORUS So you don’t have to call anymore
You don’t have to call anymore I won’t pick up the phone
I won’t pick up the phone This is the last straw
This is the last straw There’s nothin’ left to beg for
Don’t wanna to hurt anymore And you can tell me that you’re sorry
And you can tell me that you’re sorry But I don’t believe you baby written
But I don’t believe you baby Like I did before by
Like I did before You’re not sorry, no, no, oh, oh Taylor
You’re not sorry, no, no, no, oh, oh You’re not sorry, no, no, oh, oh Swift
No, no, oh, oh
Lookin’ so innocent
I might believe you if I didn’t know
Coulda loved you all my life
If you hadn’t left me waitin’ in the cold
And you got your share of secrets
And I’m tired of being last to know, woah
And now you’re asking me to listen cause
it’s worked each time before
CHORUS
But you don’t have to call anymore
I won’t pick up the phone
This is the last straw
Don’t wanna hurt anymore
And you can tell me that you’re sorry

The Way I Loved You
written by Taylor Swift and John Rich

He is sensible and so incredible REPEAT CHORUS

And all my single friends are jealous
He says everything I need to hear and it’s like He can’t see the smile I’m fakin’
I couldn’t ask for anything better And my heart’s not breakin’
He opens up my door and I get into his car Cause I’m not feelin’ anything at all
And he says you look beautiful tonight And you were wild and crazy
And I feel perfectly fine Just so frustrating intoxicating
Complicated, got away by some mistake and now
CHORUS
But I miss screaming and fightin’ and kissin’ in the rain CHORUS
And it’s 2am and I’m cursin’ your name I miss screaming and fightin’ and kissin’ in the rain
You’re so in love that you act insane It’s 2am and I’m cursin’ your name
And that’s the way I loved you I’m so in love that I acted insane
Breakin’ down and comin’ undone And that’s the way I loved you
It’s a roller coaster kinda rush Breakin’ down and comin’ undone
And I never knew I could feel that much It’s a roller coaster kinda rush
And that’s the way I loved you And I never knew I could feel that much
And that’s the way I loved you oooh oh oh oh
He respects my space
And never makes me wait Oh and that’s the way I loved you
And he calls exactly when he says he will Oh, oh, oh, woah
He’s close to my mother Oh, oh, oh, woah
Talks business with my father Never knew I could feel that much
He’s charming and endearing And that’s the way I loved you
And I’m comfortable

ForevEr & Always
Was I out of line, did I say something way too honest,
made you run and hide
Like a scared little boy
I looked into your eyes
written by Taylor Swift Thought I knew you for a minute, now I’m not so sure

Once upon a time, I believe it was a So here’s to everything comin’ down to nothin’
Tuesday when I caught your eye Here’s to silence that cuts me to the core
And we caught onto somethin’ Where is this going, thought I knew for a minute,
I hold onto the night, you looked me But I don’t anymore
in the eye and told me you loved me
REPEAT CHORUS
Were you just kidding
Cause it seems to me, You didn’t mean it baby…I don’t think so
this thing is breaking down Oh, oh oh
We almost never speak Back up, baby, back up…Did you forget everything?
I don’t feel welcome anymore Back up, baby, back up…Did you forget everything?
Baby what happened, please tell me
Cause one second it was perfect, You see it rains in your bedroom
now you’re halfway out the door Everything is wrong
It rains when you’re here and it rains when you’re gone
CHORUS Cause I was there when you said forever and always
And I stare at the phone,
he still hasn’t called CHORUS
And then you feel so low you can’t feel Oh, I stare at the phone, he still hasn’t called
nothin’ at all And then you feel so low you can’t feel nothin’ at all
And you flashback to when And you flashback to when we said forever and always
he said forever and always And it rains in your bedroom…Everything is wrong
Oh oh, and it rains in your bedroom It rains when you’re here and it rains when you’re gone
Everything is wrong Cause I was there when you said forever and always
It rains when you’re here and Didn’t mean it baby
it rains when you’re gone You said forever and always yeah

I’m five years old it’s gettin’ cold I’ve got my big coat on
I hear your laugh and look up smiling at you I run and run
Past the pumpkin patch and the tractor rides, look now the sky is gold
I hug your legs and fall asleep on the way home
The Best Day written by Taylor Swift
I don’t know why all the trees change in the fall
I know you’re not scared of anything at all
Don’t know if Snow White’s house is near or far away
But I know I had the best day with you today
I’m thirteen now and don’t know how my friends could be so mean
I come home cryin’ and you hold me tight and grab the keys
And we drive and drive until we found a town far enough away
And we talk and window shop till I forgot all their names
I don’t know who I’m gonna talk to now at school
But I know I’m laughin’ on the car ride home with you
Don’t know how long it’s gonna take to feel okay
But I know I had the best day with you today
I have an excellent father
His strength is making me stronger
God smiles on my little brother
Inside and out he’s better than I am
I grew up in a pretty house and I had space to run
And I had the best days with you
There is a video I found from back when I was three
You set up a paint set in the kitchen and you’re talkin’ to me
It’s the age of princesses and pirate ships and the Seven Dwarfs
Daddy’s smart and you’re the prettiest lady in the whole wide world
And now I know why all the trees change in the fall
I know you were on my side even when I was wrong
And I love you for giving me your eyes
Staying back and watchin’ me shine and I didn’t know if you knew
So I’m takin’ this chance to say that I had the best day with you today © 2008 Sony/ATV Tree Publishing, Taylor Swift Music (BMI). All rights reserved. Used by permission.
Change written by Taylor Swift

And it’s a sad picture, the final blow hits you

Somebody else gets what you wanted again
You know it’s all the same, another time and place
Repeating history and you’re getting sick of it
But I believe in whatever you do
And I’ll do anything to see it through
CHORUS
Because these things will change…Can you feel it now?
These walls that they put up to hold us back will fall down
This revolution, the time will come…For us to finally win

© 2008 Sony/ATV Tree Publishing, Taylor Swift Music (BMI). All rights reserved. Used by permission.
We sing Hallelujah, we sing Hallelujah oh
So we’ve been outnumbered…Raided and now cornered
It’s hard to fight when the fight ain’t fair
We’re getting’ stronger now…Find things they never found
They might be bigger…But we’re faster and never scared
You can walk away, say we don’t need this
But there’s somethin’ in your eyes…Says we can beat this
REPEAT CHORUS
Tonight we’ll stand, get off our knees
Fight for what we’ve worked for all these years
And the battle was long, it’s the fight of our lives
But we’ll stand up champions tonight
It was the night things changed…Do you see it now?
These walls that they put up to hold us back fell down
It’s a revolution, throw your hands up
Cause we never gave in
And we’ll sing Hallelujah, we sang Hallelujah…Hallelujah
This album is called “FEARLESS”, and I guess I’d like to clarify why we chose that as the title. To me, “FEARLESS” is not the absence of fear. It’s not
being completely unafraid. To me, FEARLESS is having fears. FEARLESS is having doubts. Lots of them. To me, FEARLESS is living in spite of
those things that scare you to death. FEARLESS is falling madly in love again, even though you’ve been hurt before. FEARLESS is walking into your
freshmen year of high school at fifteen. FEARLESS is getting back up and fighting for what you want over and over again…even though every time you’ve tried
before, you’ve lost. It’s FEARLESS to have faith that someday things will change. FEARLESS is having the courage to say goodbye to someone who only
hurts you, even if you can’t breathe without them. I think it’s FEARLESS to fall for your best friend, even though he’s in love with someone else. And when someone
apologizes to you enough times for things they’ll never stop doing, I think it’s FEARLESS to stop believing them. It’s FEARLESS to say “you’re NOT sorry”,
and walk away. I think loving someone despite what people think is FEARLESS. I think allowing yourself to cry on the bathroom floor is FEARLESS.
Letting go is FEARLESS. Then, moving on and being alright…That’s FEARLESS too. But no matter what love throws at you, you have to believe in
it. You have to believe in love stories and prince charmings and happily ever after. That’s why I write these songs. Because I think love is FEARLESS.
