Civil Judge Examination New Syllabus

The new syllabus consists of seven paper of written exam. Now the seats are
announced for the examination of civil judges in May 2019 and the examination will
be conducted on same syllabus as announced previously. Followings are the seven
papers for the examination of civil judges according to new syllabi set by the High
Courts;

Paper 1: Civil Law-I (100 Marks)


Paper 2: Civil Law-II (100 Marks)
Paper 3: Criminal Law (100 Marks)
Paper 4: General Law (100 Marks)
Paper 5: English (150 Marks)
Paper 6: Urdu (150 Marks)
Paper 7: General Knowledge (100 Marks)
Now candidates have to pass all seven papers mentioned above in order to qualify for
the interview. Passing marks are 40 percent in each paper and 50 percent in aggregate.
After passing the written examination, the candidates shall undergo a compulsory
Psychological and Aptitude Test and then they will appear before interview panel.

Paper 2: Civil Law-II

o Total Marks: 100


o Code of Civil Procedure, 1908
o General Clauses Act 1897
o Court Fee Act 1870
o Registration Act 1908
o Specific Relief Act 1877
o The Punjab Land Revenue Act 1967
Paper 3: Criminal Law

o Total Marks: 100


o The Pakistan Penal Code 1860
o The Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898
o Juvenile Justice System Ordinance 2000
Paper 4: General Law

o Total Marks: 100


o The Qanoon e Shahadat Order 1984
o High Court Rules and Orders Volume II & III
