PL1604 - 4 ZONES
PL1608 - 8 ZONES
While other controllers stop at the standard features needed to run an irrigation system, ProLine ignored
the memo. It not only contains features built for the installers and end-users, but it also has features for
the ones that maintain the systems. Conventional? We proudly say, “no”.

SmartWire™ is the industry’s first control system to truly be a Smart controller and a 2-wire
controller. The advantages of a SmartWire™ system include cost savings from reduction in
copper wire usage and corresponding trenching, simplicity of wiring and troubleshooting
and ease of expansion when additional zones are needed. Weathermatic SmartWire™ 2-Wire
allows for connection of up to 3 separate 2-wire paths to simplify installation on larger projects.
SmartWire™ is a member of the SmartLine® family of water management products offering
automated, on-site water management.

HOW IT WORKS
A SmartWire SLDEC valve decoder is wired to each valve. Each decoder has a programmable address (typically the zone
number), which identifies it to the SmartWire SLM48DM 2-Wire decoder module installed in a SmartLine® SL1600 controller.

We have some good news. The days of the dial are numbered. It’s the 21st century, and we access
nearly everything from our smartphones, tablets, and computers. The SmartLink Network has changed
everything, and it’s available now, today, this minute. Unlike the few other options available out there,
you don’t have to install a complicated third-party add-on box, or pay a small fortune for something
that looks like it was made in someone’s garage. Instead, you simply plug-in the SmartLink Aircard for
your Weathermatic SmartLine or ProLine controller and log-in to the network. For pennies a day you
will be the “Commander-in-Chief” of your irrigation systems.
BACKWARDS COMPATIBLE
Connects to over 250,000 existing SmartLine and ProLine controllers.
