Food Review
Introduction:
Going to a restaurant could be a great family outing and everyone loves to spend quality time
with friends and family at a restaurant, eating good food amidst a warm and friendly ambiance.
Generally, people love to go back to a restaurant for having fast foods and Chinese foods but
when it comes to a local, there’s barely restaurants where people eat local and traditional foods.
Overview
I also love to go out and try out different cuisines at different places. Since, my family lives in
Khulna, I had to go there whenever I get time. As I was born there, I’ve a lot friends in Khulna
and we often explore our cities and taste its different local cuisine. When it comes to going out
spending money on food, we try to stick with the idea of having good quality food which are less
expensive. So, one day decided to go to one of our favorite restaurant - “Kamrul Hotel”
Kamrul Hotel is mainly a local restaurant which is at Zero point road, Khulna. Like always, as
we entered the restaurant, we got mesmerized with its beautiful serving style. The staffs are
really engaging and friendly with their customers. This restaurant also has some long tables
which has been decorated and many can dine at the same time there as well and from which the
staffs food easily. This restaurant is so intelligently designed that it has been famous among all
of the ages of people for its unique serving style.
I went with two of my friends there few days ago. As we entered the restaurant the staffs
welcomed us and offered us to have a seat. After we made our decisions about what we were
going to eat, we called one of the staffs and placed our order. Our order arrived shortly after we
ordered our food. The food items that we ordered were:-
Mutton curry with piper chaba + Rice - TK 100
This dish was presented in a combination of rice, mutton, ginger and piper chaba. The
rice was moderate and good. The mutton was made using a good amount of piper
chaba which enhanced the taste even more. Piper chaba is a flowering vine in the family
Piperaceae that is native to South and Southeast Asia. P. chaba is called চুই ঝাল (Chui
Jhal) or চই ঝাল (Choi Jhal) in the Khulna Division of Bangladesh, and the states of
Tripura and West Bengal in India. P. chaba is found throughout India, and other warmer
regions of Asia including Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and Sri Lanka. The mutton was
tender and made using garlic cloves so as I was taking a bite the garlic flavor added an
extra taste in the dish. This dish was presented in bowl and the staffs put the item in our
plate. It’s the most unique thing of this restaurant, they called it their business culture.
According to the price the piece of mutton was really a good quantity. It was likewise
served with a plate filled with salad, there were onions, lemons. This dish is a spicy meal
but it’s famous for its taste all over the country. Overall, we really enjoyed this dish.
For drinks, we ordered normal three bottles of mineral water and three coco cola drinks.
Rating- 9/10
Kamrul Hotel is one of my favorite restaurants and my friends and I actually go to this
restaurant whenever we get time because of its affordable price. We choose this restaurant
always whether it is a special occasion or any normal day. Everyone in our city prefer going to
this restaurant due to this reason. At the same time, the quality of the food and service would
absolutely be the reason why one might go to this restaurant again and again. The staffs were
very co-operative and their behavior were very gentle and nice. The way they served the dishes
were very neat and the bowls, plates, glasses were clean as well.
I would like to recommend this restaurant as well as the food items that I had ordered. Food
items were very delicious. If anyone likes local cuisine then this would be one of the “must try”.
This place might not be popular place for taking “social media worthy” pictures but in terms of
food taste quality, it’s absolutely worthy.
Finally, I would say restaurants are more than food on plates. Nowadays it has become a place
for entertainment as well as for satisfying your taste bud and the love for food. It can be a good
way to spend quality time and get relief from our busy monotonous life with friends, family,
and colleagues. Thus, no matter what the reason or the season, the craze and craving for
restaurant foods are here to stay.
