OBJECTIVES
At the end of the session, students are expected to:

2. Explain how the literary, biographical, linguistic, sociocultural contexts how they
enhance the text’s meaning and enrich the reader’s understanding.
3. Create a symbolism showing the main theme of the text.

Instruct the learners to locate and explain how the different basic contexts are
used in the excerpt.
