She went to the bakery, drank a coffee and read a newspaper, while she was finishing her coffee, she remembered she had to buy a broom. When she came home, she set rules. First, she cleaned and vacuumed her bedroom and put her shoes in the shoe rack. Second, she had to prepare lunch for her and her mom who was coming to help her. Later her mom came and helped her. Paola’s mother watered the garden plants and after she got a ragpicker and mopped the bathroom, they dusted everything. She said to her mom; she did a great job in her apartment, during the afternoon Paola watched a series on Netflix and slept until 7 pm. She woke up scared because she thought it was late. Every weekend Valentina does
the same routine, she drinks two lemon shots with soda and called me around 9 pm. That weekend we danced all night, she invited some guys from her job, seems they never accepted, they never show up to the party. She felt very sad, she always said to me she wants to meet someone who love her, I always said to her you'll find it when you stop looking. We shared some drinks with the table next to us, we met the manager, and we got some awesome discounts. We drunk a lot that night, really a bad call. I received an invitation to continue the party, unfortunately I denied the invitation, I felt tired, my friend was upset with me because of that, so I paid the bill and went home. Vale called me the next day, telling me she felt terrible because I gave her money for the bill and my coat too; well it was snowing that night. The day after the weekend, I called Vale asking her if she could date one of my co-workers, he saw Valentina during our last Christmas party, and he fell in love since then. My friend picked us around 10 pm, he booked tickets for the Club, that night was super cool Josh kissed Vale, they make a nice couple since then, she always says the best decision she took was dated him. The next day I call her to go out a new club, she brought my coat, that was amazing since the weather was terrible that night too. We were so lucky, Lionel presented the show that night, Vale finally told me everything about Josh her new boyfriend, that relationship lasted almost ten years. The life is the most important for us, some day I read a story HEALTH BY JOSE about a man call Camilo, he lived in Bogota City, A day Camilo started to cough and sneeze, in that moment he FUENTES thought, “what is happen to me” the next day he felt worse, he was perspiring a lot and he met his friend called Esteban. ” really Esteban told him, “are you ok? You look pale you don’t look well” Camilo was shivering and thought that he caught the flu and told to Esteban “I couldn’t sleep well last night, maybe I caught the flu, I’m not going to die for the flu don’t worry, probably in some days I´ll feel better and recover my heat” The next day Camilo was suffering a strong headache, he started to sweat and he had vomit four times, he reviewed some medicine he was drinking and the label said “take one spoonful every seven hours for two months take with food” and the date of prescribing was not over there. His friend Esteban called him and told him you should see the doctor and Camilo felt angry and answered “I do not need a doctor I’m going to be well” However, Camilo was worse because when he coughed, he bled, he really didn’t look well, in that moment Camilo thought that he needed to see the doctor to get some medicine and felt better, when Camilo was going to the hospital he fallen and feeling too bad, he was Short of breath, he had a pain in his chest a strong hurt in his heart, too. And some minutes later he passed away. I understood in some cases, we think we have the control off all things in our life but isn’t true, we have to care our health and body, also we usually have to visit the doctor and enjoy the life with our family because we don’t know when we past away. LANGUAGES LEARNING BY JUAN ESTEBAN BARACALDO
Joe is a 38-year-old man,
nowadays he is a language teacher from a very prestigious university in Spain, he manages a very peculiar teaching methodology, which he learned from his best friend John, who also taught Joe how to speak English. These great friends have not seen each other for a long time, since John lives in America and because of his work he cannot travel to visit his friend Joe. One day Joe was presented with the opportunity to pursue a master's degree in Canada, and his friend John lived right there; Joe didn't think twice, and packed his bags, got on the plane, and headed for Canada. When Joe arrived in Canada, he called his friend John and told him that he was traveling for his studies and asked him to pick him up at the airport. John arrived a was a very nice friendly reunion; After they chatted about why Joe was there, they both recalled memorable moments from their young lives. “When John was 15 years old, he studied at an institute in Canada, his hometown, and one day a young man named Joe came to his course, he was a foreigner, he came from Spain, and he went to that institute to learn English, because he was one of the best institutes in the country. Joe had a good command of English, but he needed to put his skills into practice. As a new student, he was a little shy and this prevented him from making friends quickly. One day the teacher assigned a job in pairs, and John approached Joe and proposed that they work together, Joe accepted and from that moment they began a friendship. John taught Joe various techniques in English, and thus Joe spoke that language more fluently; John loaned him several books so that he could improve all the language skills, and Joe read each book. Thanks to this, Joe improved his language skills a lot, in addition, he memorized a lot of vocabulary that helped him to express himself better. After this, they were ready to present the activity So in class they recited a Shakespeare play entirely in English, and Joe pronounced and interpreted e ach word well during the play. The teacher was surprised that in just a few days Joe learned to speak English fluently and reminded that John had worked together with Joe, so he analyzed the situation and realized that it was John who helped Joe improve his skills. After all the introductions, the teacher approached John and said, "You have a great vocation to teach, tell me how you made Joe learn so fast?" John told him that his mother was a teacher and taught him many teaching methods. "My mother's teaching meant a lot to me," said John. And she told the teacher what she had done with Joe. "Although I know how to speak Spanish, I spoke to Joe only in English, I didn’t translate and I didn’t let him translate anything into Spanish, I explained everything to him in English, so, over time, Joe understood me better He repeated everything I taught him, wrote it down, practiced it and memorized it very well. " At the airport, after they finished remembering everything they lived through, and as they began their friendship, John said “From the day I met you, I knew you were an excellent person, and thanks to you Joe, I became a great teacher of languages, like you” Joe between tears of happiness, thanked him for all the positive things that he taught him and for having guided him on the path of teaching.
