    Equipment Top Pourer

    Used to protect storage tanks with fixed


    roofs. They are installed on the outside of
    the tank, with the nozzle penetrating
    through the tank wall to deliver foam above
    the high fuel level. Angus Fire’s top pourers
    are made from carbon steel and perform to
    the precise pressure and flow standards laid
    down by Underwriters Laboratories(UL) and
    NFPA.

    To protect the Full Surface area of a Geodesic Dome Tank, with diameter of 54 m, filled with Jet
    A1, using Top Pourer, according to the NFPA11 standard, with an application rate of 4.1 L/min/m2
    and induction rate of 3%, you will need 9390 L/min of foam solution and a minimum of 8451 L
    foam concentrate.
    Calculated foam quantity excludes any provision for supplementary protection.
    Fluorine free foam application rates may differ. Please contact Angus Fire for more information.
