In 2012, I took a step back to reflect on what I really wanted from this life. They always say
that life is short, yet there comes a point where it really hits home. This was that point for
me.

I was tired of working for people whose only motivation was how much they could increase
their bottom line. That mentality left me feeling drained and purposeless. Instead, I felt
called upon to be part of the solution within a world that just kept growing in stress and
anxiety. Can you relate?

At first, I wanted to get into direct service; that is, I wanted to be a therapist or counselor. It
was a nice start, but I realized that my heart was telling me that I wanted to go bigger. In
other words, I wanted to impact more people -- and on a greater level -- than I could in a 1-
on-1 environment.

This led me down a rocky path of subscription services. My first membership business was a
bust. I struggled to get people to join and once they were there, I really didn't know what to
do with them. The idea of developing a system to retain or engage clients eluded me.
Needless to say, this didn't lead to nearly the impact that I desired.

Fast forward a year... I had a thriving membership business and I absolutely loved it! People
experienced transformations. I was working from around the world. I earned a steady
$10k/month. It felt blissful...

... Yet, I still wanted more. There is an old philosophy, "Give a man a fish and you feed him
for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime." Well, I wanted to help others
"fish." That is, I wanted everyone to experience the freedom and fun that I had enjoyed.
Moreover, I wanted coaching and mental health services available to everyone across the
globe. (Some may call me foolish; I say I'm just ambitious!)

Life is a mosaic. If something feels disjointed, confusing, or broken, put it into the bigger
picture and it becomes a beautiful work of art.

My work with Membership Fix is exactly that. I have taken all the missing parts of typical
business coaching and fused together a program that helps people holistically. Now, they
experience major business and life transformations. This fills my soul.
