What is a Process?

 A process is no more than the steps and


decisions involved in the way work is
accomplished.
 Everything we do in our lives involves processes
and lots of them. The transportation industry is
no different.
 Here are some relevant examples:
− Creating a Toll Transaction
− Creating a Photo Toll Transaction
− Creating a Tag Toll Transaction

 Attaining a full understanding of all the roles,

Sub- Sub-Process Reference: This shape is used to display a lower (More detail) level process diagram

Flow line (solid): Line indicates the normal sequence of steps and direction of flow in the Process. Line can also
lead to documents involved in the process flow.
