RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY
 To study the entire mechanism of trading online and dematerialization.
 To study various benefits of depositories.
 To study the concept of dematerialization of shares that is procedure, Demat a/c, transfer
of securities and trading and settlement of Demat securities.
 To study the services provided by NSDL and CSDL.
 To study the procedure of online trading of Demat securities.

NEED FOR THE STUDY


 Bad Deliveries
 Stolen. Fake and Forged Shares.
 Delays and other difficulties faced while transferring the shares, disbursing
corporate benefits plagued the capital market in the early years of 1900’s.
 SCOPE OF THE STUDY:
o The scope of the project is to study and know about Online Trading and
Clearing & Settlements dealt in India infoline limited.
 By studying the Online Trading and Clearing & Settlements, a clear option of dealing
in stock exchange is been understood.
 Unlike olden days the concept of trading manually is been replaced for fast interaction
of shares of shareholder.
 By this we can access anywhere and know the present dealings in shares.

LIMITIONS OF THE STUDY


 The observations drawn are of past and present years only.
 Detailed study on the topic was not possible due to limited size of the project.
 There was a constraint with regard to time allocation for the research study i.e. for a
period of two months.
 Data collection was strictly confined to secondary source of data. No primary data is
associated with the project.
FINDINGS
1. It was found that most of the customers are willing to take Demat account rather than
commodity account.
2. To get more returns customers are investing in financial products.
3. Most of the customers are prefer to invest in long term investments.
4. When compared to other findings companies INDIAINFOLINE was provider less transaction
fee of Rs10 only.(ICICI,SBI)

SUGGESTIONS

 Increase awareness about the company’s products in the market.

 Company should maintain good relation with the customers.

 Company should responded quickly to the queries asked by the customers.

 It should increase the promotional activities to create awareness of the product.

 Give more demonstration to customers so that they can get complete knowledge about
online trading.

 Try to minimize the rejections by taking care while filling the application form.

 Give the complete information about products and services offered by the company to the
customers.

 It can increase the customer database if they decrease the processing time of the
application.

CONCLUSION
The comprehensive study of on “online trading system and Clearing & settlements at India info line
limited have been an enlightening experience stressing on the position aspects on security trading.
Dematerialization of shares and online trading has done in whole lot of good to the issuer, investor,
companies and country.
