INSTRUCTIONS:
1. This activity is an individual activity.
2. Set a schedule for a family meeting that will discuss and create a plan for
your family in times of disaster.
3. Document the planning of your family.
4. Identify with your family, the different hazards that your household may
encounter.
5. Print out and display the important numbers.
6. Draw a map of your neighborhood and make sure that you will pin point an
evacuation area that everyone knows.
7. Collate the emergency numbers. Place the directory where your landline is
located for easy access and viewing.
8. Make sure that every family member has a designated responsibility.
9. Your disaster plan should be updated regularly.
THINGS TO SUBMIT:
You will submit a powerpoint presentation showing the whole process of your
family meeting and your family’s output. Do not forget to put labels / captions
on your photos.
