The president recently signed the CARES Act to address the many issues brought on by the pandemic.

Under the act, you may make a “coronavirus-related” withdrawal from your 401(k) Plan with no early withdrawal penalty.

Important! Taking money out of your 401(k) account now may negatively affect your savings goals. Please consult a qualified financial advisor to
discuss the impact of a withdrawal on your financial planning.

Amazon Relief Fund

We are establishing the Amazon Relief Fund with a $25 million initial contribution to support our employees, qualified independent contractors, and
employees of qualified vendors around the world who face financial hardships from qualifying events, such as a natural disaster, federally declared
emergency, or unforeseen personal hardship. Eligible individuals will be able to apply for a personal grant from the fund.

Initially, the Fund will focus on Flex delivery partners, delivery associates employed by a DSP, qualified drivers and support teams of middle mile
Linehaul carrier partners, and associates employed by Integrity Staffing, RES Staffing, or Adecco Staffing who are quarantined or diagnosed with
COVID-19. We expect the qualifying events, countries, and eligible applicants, including Amazon employees, to expand soon.

This is a top priority and teams are working around the clock to ensure we’re taking care of everyone who works with Amazon during this global crisis.
Remember, we have resources available for Amazonians. Employees who have been quarantined by a government or Amazon, or are diagnosed
with COVID-19, will receive up to two paid weeks off. Employees can contact Disability Leave Services to get the time they need. Unlimited unpaid
time off is also available through the end of April.

What is the extra time off with pay for full-time and part-time employees?

Part-time and full-time employees quarantined by a government or by Amazon, or diagnosed with COVID-19, will receive up to two paid weeks off.
This is to ensure employees have the time they need to return to good health without the worry of lost pay.

Unlimited unpaid time off is available until April 30, 2020.

You can contact Disability and Leave Services (DLS) to get the time you need.

Will hourly employees still have excused unpaid time if they need to stay home sick?

Yes. This is in addition to unlimited unpaid time off for all hourly employees through April 30, 2020.

If you get sick, you should not report to work and should follow the standard process for absence notification. If you have questions, contact your
manager or the ERC.

coronavirus response.

My child’s daycare and school has closed as a result of COVID-19. Am I able to use sick time to care for my children?

Yes. You may use sick time to care for your children. For more information, visit Paid Sick Leave Purposes Guide.

Does FMLA apply if I get sick with COVID-19? Does FMLA apply if my spouse or child gets sick with COVID-19 and I must stay home to
care for them?

Your absence will be designated as FMLA if you meet the eligibility requirements and your condition is certified as a “serious health condition” defined
under the FMLA.

If your child or spouse, including domestic partner, gets COVID-19 and you miss work to care for them, your absence may qualify for FMLA. If you
don’t, you may qualify for other leave options.
