    A few Items that if added would really enhance the scope of use for this kit

    without adding noticeable amounts of weight, bulk and cost would be....
    1) Blood Glucose Meter (Kit with Lancets)
    2) Spare set of Lithium ion batteries for above
    3) Pulse Oximeter (if possible try and get one that takes the same size batteries
    as your Blood Glucose Meter / Torch)
    4) Epi-Pen or equivalent
    5) Tongue depressors - (also 8 of these taped together make an improvise tourniquet
    bar)
    6) Magnifying glass
    7) IV catheters of a smaller size (20 Gauge - 24 Gauge) Think IV access on people
    of a smaller stature or children
    8) An Extraction Collar (Adjustable size)
    9) An additional 3x CAT Tourniquets, Giving 1x for each Limb

    For those of you like me that wondered about the size of the clear pouches, try 8"
    x 5" (20.5cms x 12.5xms). I based my kit on this set up but tailored it to my group
    needs and my knowledge / training / competency and physical ability.

    Advanced Kit you may want to consider if your knowledge / training / competency and
    budget allows....

    1) An AED (However, these are to expensive for the average home FAK, some may
    consider it too bulky, and/or unlikely to be used, although they definitely fall
    within
    the scope of use for this set up.)
    2) Laryngoscope set both with Mac and Miller Blades
    3) LMA's (Cuffed ET tubes), or iGel's (iGel's are easier to use, more durable,
    however they are bulkier)
    4) Goal Zero Guide 10 Plus
    5) Goal Zero Nomad 13 (Solar Battery Charger, Strapped to the outside of your bag.
    It gives you the ability to passively charge batteries for extended use of
    electronic devices including Batteries for Torches/Pulse Oximeter/Glucose Meter or
    GPS etc.... as well as giving you the ability to charge mobile phones)

    May be beneficial to add a "Rip a way" Trauma Pouch to the front containing:
