Overview
RM-20 is a collection of sampled instruments inspired by the Yamaha
PS-20, an electric organ built in 1981. The sounds of the original
hardware instrument are lo-fi but charming, and it has been heavily
used by the band Beach House, where the lo-fi tones contribute to the
band’s dreampop atmosphere.
These RM-20 patches uses samples of all ten of the original PS-20s
sounds, and the samples retain the sound and charm of the original
instrument whilst allowing modern functionality the original lacks, such
as the ability to play parts via MIDI.
Running the samples through effects like chorus, delay and reverb will
bring the sounds to life and inspire your own dreampop creations.

Ableton Live Installation
Once unzipped, move the entire RM-20 Beach Organ folder
containing all of the formats to your Sample Library. This can be any
folder, and if you don’t have one set up yet, simply create a new folder
called ‘Sample Library’ or ‘Reverb Machine Packs’.
Open Ableton Live and drag the folder ‘RM-20 Project’ into the Places
section of Ableton Live’s browser. It will then show up under Live’s Packs,
and the patches can be quickly loaded from the Instrument Rack folder
under the Instruments category.
4
FL Studio Installation

Troubleshooting
I get a ‘Media Files are Missing’ message in Ableton.
This error message occurs if the Ableton patches can’t find the samples
in the download’s WAV folder, usually caused by moving/deleting the
download or the WAV folder inside the download.
The easiest way to fix it is to delete the pack, redownload it, and then
move it to a folder where it won’t get moved (like a Samples folder) and
reinstall via the drag-and-drop method.
