I wish to enumerate the cause of concerns as below: 1, Selective targeting of Several Nationalist handles and Pro- Indian handles are suspended or locked rampantly in past few months. 2. Pro-India national interest think tanks run by decorated veterans who do never indulge in any mudslinging but speak about subjects like data sovereignty are silenced by suspending accounts. 3. Handle belonging to elected public representatives are suspended without notice. 4, Handles spewing poison and passing objectionable comments about Hon'ble Prime Minister of India, Home Minister of India, Chief Ministers of india, and other Indian establishments are promoted via paid advertisements. 5. Handles spreading discontent and fake news about Indian religions or Indian elected representatives are not warned / blocked even after repetitive complaints 6. Objectionable content / incitement to violence/ Separatism tweets that are Anti India are been promoted and payment is accepted by Twitter for such sponsored advertisements | urge to Government of india to investigate the motives behind such acts by Twitter Inc. It must be also investigated if money is exchanged or personal like or dislike of decision maker of twitter leads to such actions to promote Anti India, Anti BJP, Anti Modi, Anti Indian establishment tweets. | am attaching tweets whereby Pro- Khalistan tweets were sponsored and accepted by twitter Inc. | fail to understand how such a tweet does not violate their own policy? ‘Also attaching a tweet that targets PMO on global platform through Wall Street Journal where itis said that under Prime Minister Modi the civil liberties in India is at stake thereby projecting our respected PM and the country in poor light. This incident raises some serious questions and observations which I have tried to list out below: + Data sovereignty: Whereby such anti-national tweets / content should not just be deleted but proof should be provided to Government of India. ‘* The social media platforms like Twitter should be asked to change their policy and prevent anti India propaganda. ‘The logic and algorithms that Twitter uses should be shared and vetted by Indian Govt/Law Enforcement Agencies for screening anti- India tweets, Demand for action to be taken by Twitter on such handles so far. If these tweets are promoted, then Twitter should declare money / business generated from any suspected anti India commercial operation.
