HON. ROYINA MARZAN GARMA

General Manager
Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office
E. Rodriguez Sr. Avenue, PCSO Complex,
Quezon City, Metro Manila

Dear Madam Garma:

Greetings from the people of Ifugao!

Ifugao is one of the provinces in the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR). It

is composed of Eleven (11) municipalities and is classified as a fourth (4th)
class province. Notwithstanding such classification however, the province has
not lose its confidence in improving the lives and welfare of its constituents.
In this light, the undersigned believes that improving the province’s health
facilities is an inevitable step to continue with our ardent hope and desire to
provide a more improved health service that can cover a range of medical
offerings.
At present, the province has Seven (7) public hospitals comprising of Four (4)
district hospitals, Two (2) municipal hospitals and One (1) Ifugao General
Hospital (IGH). Despite these number, the health facilities of said hospitals still
prove to be inadequate and insufficient to cater even the basic diagnosis and
treatments a hospital can provide. This being cognizant of the fact that our
province cannot provide a fully-equipped hospital considering that the province
is generally dependent from its limited share in the Internal Revenue Allotment.
Thus, having known of your unparalleled advocacy in providing medical
assistance, health care and immense gratefulness in establishing strong
partnership, the people of Ifugao, through the representation of the
undersigned, thus now ask your generous support by considering our province
particularly the Ifugao General Hospital (IGH) to be one of the recipients of your
financial assistance for the purchase of the following medical equipment which
we are in dire need, to wit:
1. One (1) CT Scan;
2. One (1) Laparoscopy;
3. One (1) Stationary X-ray Machine; and
4. Five (5) Dialysis Machines.
These medical equipment would be of great help to our sick constituents
especially those who cannot afford the high cost medication from other
hospitals. Likewise, the equipment would provide them more convenience and
comfort as they shall be attended to immediately without having to travel
outside the province.
Thank you very much and we look forward with positive hope for your
favorable response.

Very truly yours,

JERRY U. DALIPOG
Provincial Governor
