    - On February 7, 2020, a concerned citizen reported pieces of lumber found in Purok 6, Barangay Zone II, Sto. Niño, South Cotabato to the Monitoring and Enforcement Section of the DENR CENRO Banga. - A team from DENR CENRO Banga and the Philippine National Police went to investigate and found 49 pieces of miscellaneous lumber equivalent to 669.3 board feet. - Through interrogation, no one claimed ownership of the lumber so it was considered abandoned. - The team recommends an administrative adjudication to investigate the matter further.

    SUBJECT : REPORT ON APPREHENDED MISCELLANEOUS SPECIES CONSISTING


    49 PIECES EQUIVALENT TO 669.3 BOARD FEET/1.58 CUBIC METER

    On February 7, 2020 the Chief, Monitoring and Enforcement Section (MES) received a phone call
    from concern citizen at around 8.00 o’clock in the morning pertaining to the pieces of Lumber found at
    Purok 6, Barangay Zone II, Sto. Niño, South Cotabato.

    At around 9:30 in the morning the composite team of DENR CENRO Banga together with Sto. Niño
    Philippine National Police lead by Police Lieutenant Diogenes P. Hare and MENRO Sto. Niño Lead by
    Engr. Anastacio N. Susarno Jr. proceed to the location and the team found out the 49 pieces of lumber
    equivalent to 669.3 board feet of miscellaneous species. As per interrogation, there is no claimant of the said
    lumber and the team considered the said lumber as abandoned. (See attached photos and scaled sheet)

    The team recommend Administrative Adjudication Proceedings pursuant Dao 97-32, to shed light
    surrounding the matter.
