COURSE DESIGN

COURSE TITLE : BEGINNER JAPANESE LANGUAGE


NOMINAL DURATION : 150 Hours
QUALIFICATION LEVEL : JLPT N5

COURSE DESCRIPTION :

This course is designed to teach beginner Japanese Language that includes many
elementary grammar patterns and vocabularies (Japanese Language Proficiency Test N5) for
the purpose of living and working in Japan.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Candidate/trainee must reach/poses any of the following qualification:
● Can communicate both oral and in written
● Physically and mentally fit
● With good moral character
● At least High School graduate

NOMINAL DURATION : 80 Hrs.

MODULE DESCRIPTOR :
This unit of competency covers the knowledge, skills and attitudes in constructing simple
sentences. It includes Japanese vocabulary and kanji of JLPT N5 level.

SUMMARY OF LEARNING OUTCOMES:

Upon completion of this module, the trainees/students should be able to:

LO 1: Memorize and identify Japanese vocabularies (JLPT N5 level) with Kanji


characters.

LO2: Discuss basic construction of sentences.

LO3: Discuss and use demonstrative pronouns for things, meaning of a
