requirement of e-business. At the same time information flow is the key aspect of any point in
supply chain network. The faster growth of e-business and varying demand on electronic data
interchange (EDI) system between companies and their stake holders have to determine increasing
the important of information management in creating effective supply management integration.

A business unit success depends upon its customer. Product/Service means nothing without its
potential customer network. Keeping in mind those companies should act to acquire, sustain and
expand potential customer network to establish or retain market presence. This is accomplish
through the customer has to delighted by the product or service as the main goal of corporate
strategy.

Though strategy is key element for success of an organization but customer relationship
management (CRM) technology is the way to achieve it.

Advanced information systems and technology have had a break through on the development of
supply chain. As a result of upgradation of information system and technology, supply chain partners
and stake holders should work with high level of coordination and support to optimize the
performance and efficiency of supply management. Actual realized benefits of return can be shared
among supply partners and stack holders.

The era of internet have significant new opportunities for accomplish the international business
market. In other hand great demand for who wish to achieve these opportunities. At present there
are several big players who predominate in the market solely via the Internet. Still there are a few
players making it as profitably. Developing it possible to use the internet as a platform for marketing
requires new knowledge about how the entire logistics system wants to be developed in various
aspects and about the consequences this will suggest for other players.

The incorporation of Information technology (IT) with Logistics management is a significant


requirement for noteworthy logistics management. An e-Commerce portal can be used as a
marketing platform in association with existing mediators or through by passing mediators will give
high influencing opportunities to the logistics function and flexibility of the supply model will
improve. Thus development of E-logistics essential for success in supply chain management both
domestic and international markets which enable customer to know the information about their
product/service which make them happy and peace of mind about their shipment. Finally facility of
real time tracking, on time delivery and grievance address mechanism to customer results higher
customer satisfaction which is back bone of corporate strategy to achieve the goal.
