Introduction

PayPal is a service that enables you to pay, send money, and accept
payments. PayPal is one of the best global online payment platforms.
Its universality and popularity had given the platform an edge over
other global online payment system.

Nigeria is one of the countries that BANNED from enjoying the useof
this online payment platform. I know you will be happy if you hear
that you can now receive money through PayPal account in Nigeria.
Yes! I too will be happy. But I doubt its happening any soon.

So I will be showing you a hack you can use to receive money from
PayPal in Nigeria.

Step 1: Visit www.paypal.com/ls

To create a PayPal that can allow you to enjoy the full benefit of the
payment platform, you will have to register via PayPal for Lesotho.
Lesotho is a small country in the southern part of Africa and using
their country as a front we can register and access PayPal.

Step 2: Create a Business Account

To receive money online via PayPal, you need to have a business
account. So to get started, click on ‘sign up for free’ and select
business account, then click on ‘continue’. The PayPal business
account is ideal for online merchants, as well as other business
entities. The account gives business owners the options of accepting
payments without the excess credit card processing expenses. This
accounts also provides options for express payments, allowing your
customers to quickly check out with their PayPal account without
providing personal information.

Step 3: Registration Process

Fill in your email address in to the form. You can use any of your
email of your choice.

Click on next and you will be taken to the next form where you will fill
in your details. Feel free to fill in the details of yourself, your real self.
With your Nigeria details. The Lesotho PayPal account is going to
recognize your details as legit.

Fill in the form.

v Business name: Put your business name, if you have none, just
come up with something, its needed.
v Business Phone: Just put in your Nigeria Phone number with the
Lesotho code. Its makes no difference.
v Business Address: Use your Nigerian address and fill the address
section.
v State: Fill your Nigeria state.
v Postal Code: Fill in your postal code.

v Currency: Use ‘US Dollar’ as your primary currency

Select the checkbox for Agreement to the trems and conditions and
click on ‘Agree and Continue’.

Step 4: Business Information

Fill in your business information and select all the corresponding
details. Select your country of Incorporation. If you are in Nigeria,
select Nigeria.

Step 5: Personal Identification Details

Here, you will need to fill in your details your identity.

v Nationality: Select Nigeria, or your country of origin.
v Identity Type: Select the Identity document you have. Use your
National ID card, Driver’s License, International Passport etc.
v ID type number: Put in the number in your card.
v Date of Birth: your DOB
v Home Address: Select the checkbox that says ‘Home address is
the same as business address’.
Click on the ‘Submit’ button.

The whole Idea of opening a Lesotho PayPal is to front as a Nigeria
doing business in Lesotho. This is the key.
You will get this screen.

Go to your email and confirm your email to activate your account from
the mail from PayPal. Then come back to this screen and click ‘Set Up
Payments’ to Add your card.

Step 6: Linking your Debit/Credit Card

Here is where you will add your MasterCard or Visa card. Click on the
gear wheel and select the 'Link and confirm debit or credit card’ link.
Your card must be functional.

Here you will need a card from any of the Nigerian banks or a
Payoneer card can also be an alternative. Recommended cards
include;

v First Bank Dollar Card (Visa Gold)
v Fidelity Master Card
v UBA Master Card.

You can ask your bank how to get these or you can contact me via

Fill in your card details, leave the address unchanged.

Click continue. Paypal will charge this card $1.95 USD or equivalent to
make the card works. The money will be refunded into your PayPal
account within 24 hours after you confirm your card.

Step 7: Confirming your Card

After your card details have been filled in correctly and the card is
accepted, you will be asked for a code to verify the card. This code can
be found in your bank account statement.

This can also be found in the debit mail from your bank. if you don’t
see a mail, kindly visit your bank and ask for a printed account
statement.

After this has been done, your account is ready.

Step 8: THE NEXT STEP.

Now you can use your PayPal to receive and make Payments online.
Avoid creating invoices on PayPal as this can attract some unforeseen
restriction on your account.

Also ignore the prompt to confirm your phone number as this makes
no difference.
