Instruction for Lab Practice

Dear Students,
Greetings from lab team!
As we are planning to conduct Lab practice on (04.02.2020-04.03.2020) and (23.03.2020-04.04.2020) for non-specific students.

Students are requested to follow the instructions carefully before attending the Lab Practice

1. Slots for the Lab practice would be enabled from 04.02.2020 for booking.
2. Make sure you have a good internet connectivity of at least 1 mbps.
3. We will give 2 hours for each user to complete the practice
4. Students should book the slot in platifi to take lab practice.
5. No cancellation of booked slot is allowed this time.
6. Kindly take necessary screenshot of your work and submit it on elearn portal.
7. We will monitor all the students’ activity with the help of PlatiFi Team (Support team).
8. We will ask students not to involve any malpractice during practice.
9. After completing all 8 tutorials, make a report with all tutorial results and upload in elearn portal.
10.The result screenshot must be of whole screen.
11.The report should be in pdf or ppt format. In the report before each tutorial, Id.no_ date of practice_ slot timing. (i.e.)
2018TH01568_0804_24 must have to mention.

0804- 8th April 2019 24 - Slot Time is 2 p.m-4 p.m

First Page of the Report should be compulsory Hall Ticket

(i) Hall Ticket followed by tutorial results.

2. Students should use the below URL and enter their login credential to book the slot for Remote lab
URL: http://bitsmech.remotelabs.platifi.com/#!/login

Password: DOB
3. After booking the slot, click on the web rdp. The web rdp enable at the time of their respective examination/Practice date

4. It will direct you to the remote desktop.

5. Students should take the screenshot as their Bits Id (Username) would be visible in the URL. Kindly find below the screenshot for
your reference. (E.g) username: [email protected]
6. Students can perform the experiment with their respective tools. After completing their problem save the file and upload in elearn
portal.

7. Close the window once you complete.
