    YBS Cables Private Limited was established in 2008 and since has thrived to become
    pioneer in various kind of specialised cables & cords. With founders having 35 years of
    experience in manufacturing of wires and cables, we sought to achieve & exceed the
    domestic and international standards in manufacturing high quality cables for audio/video
    equipments, instrumentation, computers and domestic use. We have dedicated members
    of the staff who are highly qualified & experienced, specialized in their respective fields and
    striving hard to achieve the highest possible customer satisfaction. The company also aims
    to provide a sound management and employee motivation. Though these are very
    demanding targets, we are committed to achieving them consistently.
    Our company is managed professionally, and it believes in a long-term relationship with its
    customers, suppliers, bankers, employees and others, which it achieves through its fine-
    tuned trading practices. Thus, the company is committed to the quality of its personnel,
    products and services. It is organized and managed to meet the different needs and
    requirements of its varied customer base.
    Our production house spread over 42,000 Sq. feet of area & has specialised in the

    production of various type of Cables & Cords. The company has end to end manufacturing
    facilities & has set up a well equipped modern laboratory for in house testing of cables
    (including FRLS PVC testing). In order to have consistent quality results we manufacture
    our own PVC compounds.

    Elevator Traveling Cables

    Construction

    Conductor: Flexible bright annealed bare copper conductor Class5, manufactured using
    99.97% pure electrolytic grade copper, with more than 100% conductivity, as per IEC 60228

    Insulation: The best in class, YBS uses high grade insulation PVC which passes tests as per EN
    50214. It is blended with premimum elastomers to give as leading edge to the product in terms
    of life and flexibility.

    Core Identification: Yellow Core's with black numbering along with one Green Earthing core.

    Outer Sheath: Specially formulated PVC with a blend of Elastomer, for continuous flexing
    operation, meeting the requirement of Type ST 3 as per IEC 60227-2, in black colour

    En 50214 specifies a severe mechanical test for flat


    PvC sheathed flexible cables
    The reverse bend flex test. In this test, the cable
    ends are weighted with 10 times the weight of a one
    meter sample. A pulley rig traverses a specified
    distance forcing the cable sample into a moving
    reverse bend. Current is applied to each conductor
    so that if a conductor opens, the flexing operation
    will stop. The cable must endure 30,000 cycles.
