I. O BJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson at least 95% of the student should be able to:
a.) Identify the parts of the isometric drawing.
b.) Understand how to construct / draw isometric drawing.
c.) Construct isometric drawing.

II. SUBJECT MATTER

ISOMETRIC DRAWING

 REFERENCES:
K to 12 Basic Education Curriculum Technology and Livelihood Education Learning Module
for Mechanical Drawing.

III. INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS:

 Projector Mechanical materials
 Colored paper Eraser
 Chalk Ruler

IV. PROCEDURE:

Teacher’s Questions and Activity Students’ Responses / Activities

A. INTRODUCTION / PRELIMINARY ACTIVITY

Arrange the chair properly - The learners are expected to do their daily
Lead the Prayer routines activities.
Checking of the attendance and the
classroom.

B. MOTIVATION

1. Class, what was our last topic last

meeting?
“ Sir it’s all about Pictorial Drawing”
Very good!

2. Can anyone enumerate the three

types of pictorial drawing? “Sir, first is Axonometric, second Oblique and lastly
is perspective drawing.”
That’s correct!

And what are the three types of

Axonometric drawing? “Sir, Isometric, diametric and trimetric”

Very good!

What pictorial drawing that shows

three surfaces of the object tilted 30 “Sir, Isometric”
degrees in front of the observer?
Then what do you think is our lesson for today? “I think sir the topic for today is about Isometric”

C. LESSON PROPER

The teacher will discuss the parts of the

isometric drawing. - The students are expected to listen and

Steps in Drawing Isometric from a given
Orthographic Views

1. Study the given orthographic views

carefully. Estimate the width, height and
the depth of the object, then sketch the
axes used in isometric drawing.

2. Transfer the height (A), the width (B),

and the depth (C) of the object to the
corresponding axis respectively.

3. Draw isometric lines to complete the

isometric box.
4. Layout details of the object inside the
box then finish the pictorial view by
drawing the object lines.

Afterward, each of the student should

demonstrate skilfully how to draw
isometric drawing.

D. DEEPINING STAGE
The teacher will show a step on how to construct
isometric drawing.

E. GENERALIZATION
At least three students will be asked to share
their gain knowledge and understanding about the
topic and their feeling after the finished activity

F. EVALUATION / ASSESSMENT
Given the same orthographic views and its -the learners are expected to listen and analyze
