A month ago after finishing my homework, I wanted to relax. While I was walking on the beach
on a warm evening, I saw two small children playing with the sand. They found something. It was big,
reddish-brown, and made of metal. When I looked at it, I knew immediately that it was an old bomb.
First, I told the children to move away from the bomb. Fortunately, I had my mobile phone with
me, so I called the police and told them what we had found. Fifteen minutes later, the police arrived and
I explained everything to them. Then I went home again.
The next day, I read in the newspaperr that the police had blown up the bomb. It was highly
explosive. It had been in the sand for over sixty years. It was from the second world war, and it was very
dangerous.

snaks and nice morning talk. I had a good time with them and hoped to join again sometimes.
Hello! My name is Amira. I am a student. I live at Cherry 2 street. (32) .... father is a soldier and
my mother is a housewife. I go to school by bicycle. My bicycle (33) ... green.
Last week my friend and I were bored after three weeks of holidays. So we rode our bikes to
Smith Beach, which is only five kilometres from where I live. When we arrived at the beach, we were
surprised to see there was hardly anyone there. After having a quick dip in the ocean, which was really
cold, we realized one reason there were not many people there. It was also quite windy.
After we bought some hot chips at the take away store nearby, we rode our bikes down the
beach for a while, on the hard, damp part of the sand. We had the wind behind us and, before we knew
it, we were many miles down the beach. Before we made the long trip back, we decided to paddle our
feet in the water for a while, and then sit down for a rest. While we were sitting on the beach, just
chatting, it suddenly dawned on us that all the way back, we would be riding into the strong wind.
When we finally made it back home, we were both totally exhausted! But we learned some
good lessons that day.
