INTRODUCTION:
Maznah Hamid or her full name Datuk Wira Dr. Maznah Hamid. She was born in
18 April 1955 and died at 4 October 2017 at age 62 years old. She was born in
Ayer Hitam, Kedah. She establish and steered Securiforce from an unknown entity
35 years ago, to become the largest Security provider in Malaysia, successfully
rising over more than a hundred other competitive companies of a similar nature.
She is very influence entrepreneur.
ENTREPRENEURIAL COMPETENCIES/VALUES POSSESS BY MAZNAH HAMID:
She started her business with merely RM5000 from her savings compared to
other companies of similar nature that began with capitals between RM500,000
to RM1milion. She now heads nearly 65 branches with employees reaching to
almost 6000, hundreds of firearms and numerous armoured vehicles. The service
are not only limited to static guard but also spans to logistic, cash-in-transit, cash
management, high tech cargo management, armoured trucking service, as well as
numerous and total security package pioneering the concept of ‘total security’.
She started the business venture when she decided to buy an almost bankrupt,
unknown security company and until now turn it into a multi-million empire.
Securiforce now has become the largest security provider in Malaysia. When an
almost bankrupt company was offered to her, Datuk Maznah and her husband,
who were eager to change their ordinary life had took the pludge.
She put all her RM 5000 into a security service company. Consider for a moment
that she had no idea how to run a business, let alone one that dealt with security.
All she knew were the basic of security operations, law and firearms. Datuk
Maznah not only managing the operation during the early days when the business
just start up, she also to be clerk, secretary, manager and receptionist. They even
sold their own house and moved into a slum that came without electricity for
expand their business.
FACTOR THAT CONTRIBUTE TO HER SUCCESS:
1. OPEN THE SECURITY CONTROL ONLY WITH RM5000.

In 1980, Datuk Maznah Hamid started their business with establish the
security company only with RM 5000. She say in someone want to success,
the total of the capital is not the main key, but the confident and courage is
the main key to reach the goal.
2. DID NOT REQUEST ANY HELP FROM BANK.
Almost 30 years after he moved to Kuala Lumpur to start their new life. She
also he also faced various allegation to success. At Kuala Lumpur he live at
squatter house with no electricity. But with her persistence and patient she
finally reach his goal without any help from bank.
3. BEING A WRITER AND MOTIVATIONAL EXPERT.
She has many experience in business so she want to help other people and
guide them to change their live in business world. She really encourages
women to join and be a business woman because she say in she can do why
not other woman.
4. VENTURE INTO REAL ESTATE.
She is founder of Danau Lumayan Sdn. Bhd in 1997. She build 3000 unit of
condominium house.
WHAT MAKES MAZNAH HAMID DIFFERENT FROM OTHER BUSSINSSMAN:
 COURAGE
She courage to take the risk to establish the estate company even she know
she need to fight with other big company that have been so long in the
estate industries and have more experience.
She know she is girl and people mentality only think that woman is weak.
She try to change people mentality that woman also can do what man can
do even in strength.
 NEVER GIVE UP
She work hard even she live in poor condition. The house that she live in
Kuala Lumpur did not have electricity and no water. She also have 5
children. She raised 5 children lovingly even in difficult circumstances.
 GENEROUS
She always help other jobless in their motivation to change their live into a
better way. She always share their step to become what are is she now. She
always invite people to join in business industry. She guide people on how
to manage their money in business. She always say nothing impossible if
you not try it.
CONCLUSION AND REFERENCE:
In conclusion, Maznah Hamid is the one of the most influence and the most
successful entrepreneur even she is a woman. She courage to do the job that man
do with confidence. She give the good vibe to other people who think that the job
that you think you can’t do is the best for you in you try it. To be an entrepreneur
in the era is more easy. The era almost all people have social media. So the social
media is the main target to the entrepreneur to improve their product.
