REFEREE EXCERPTS
“Pru has an enviable ability in the area of technology and social media and has managed to transform my
presence in this area in a profound way. She started by constructing a website for me, uploaded hundreds of
images from various mediums and cataloguing them and researching and adding relevant articles and texts, some
of which I didn’t know existed. Her work went far beyond simply designing a website and involved a forensic level
of research, as well as an understanding of academic procedures. In the time I have known her, Pru Smith has
been an invaluable assistant and her expertise in the areas mentioned, as well as her reliability and energy are
exemplary. Her ability to organise and make things happen and her impressive connections have all been
instrumental in making these projects successful.”

Dr Hadyn Wilson, Artist

“When we had impossible deadlines to meet, she was prepared to put in the effort, offering the hours required
to fulfil the task and contribute her personal support when things got tough. She became the backbone of the
office by helping to formulate and almost solely construct many of the systems that BLACK now runs on.”
