The continuous exposure to flames and heat from recurring hard training takes an especially hard
toll on equipment. The eXXtreme preset utilizes special materials to reduce maintenance and cost
of ownership of critical components that would otherwise require frequent replacement in such
extreme applications.
The harness is made from extra heavy duty and non-flammable aramid fibres. The air line is pro-
tected from fire and heat by insulating tunnels on the shoulder pads. With the rapid cylinder
exchange coupling alphaCLICK, the cylinder is simply snapped onto the pressure reducer [for

The next generation of standalone personal alert safety systems motionSCOUT detects the cessa-
tion of bodily movement and activates an automatic alarm. For enhanced safety the alarm can be

spot where a respirator must be worn. A pre-shaped nose clip allows for easy contour adjust-
ments to achieve a snug fit that prevents exhaled breath from escaping and fogging safety
glasses. A colour coding system ensures easy identification of the protection level and helps the

The F1E is a very high performance structural fire helmet, specially
designed for large head size firefighters, from 58 to 64 cm.

The jet-shaped helmet shell is equipped with a comfortable, soft inner padding, 3-point chinstrap

The helmet is available for head sizes from 51 to 64 cm in white, black and olive-green.

MO 5001R & MO 5011R

The MO 5001R / MO 5011R is intended for riot control and law enforcement operations with risks
of projectiles, gas, smoke, etc. It is compatible with the adaptation of a respiratory mask and can
be either hold with a bulb anti-shock face-shield [MO 5001R] or with a curved one [MO 5011R].
The shell in polycarbonate is moulded by injection. The cradle is comfortable and adjustable by
self-gripping parts. The chinstrap, made in leather, has an anti-strangulation system.
Two side holes onto the shell make hearing easier and three back holes bring a better ventilation.
Sizes cover from 52 cm to 62 cm [6 1/2 to 7 3/4].
Three colours are available: white, blue, black.
Performances: compliant to EN 397 [low shocks, penetration, flame, retention system strength],
anti-scratch treated and high protection face-shield.

3S-H-A Police Full Face Mask

Whenever respiratory protection is required, the 3S-H-A mask can be
attached to the MO 5006 without the necessity of removing the helmet.
Adjustable rubber straps allow the mask to be connected quickly and
securely to the helmet.
If the mask is worn without the helmet, a supplementary harness is avail-
able which attaches simply and quickly to the mask.
The 3S-H-A has a round thread connector [EN 148-1] and comes with hel-
met adapters.

The chemical protective suit for Emergency Teams [ET] has a combination of elastomer coated
fabric and multilayer film laminate. Vautex Elite ET provides optimal protection against solid, liq-
uid and gaseous hazards. It features increased resistance against mechanical stress, flames and
low temperatures [- 60°C], while being flexible and allowing freedom of movement. The large
integrated lens allows weight reduction in the head section for better wearing comfort. Addi-
tional features are the removable back padding, electronic identification by transponder, gas-
tight zipper with cover and replaceable glove system and boots.

An automatic change-over valve between compressed air breathing apparatus and compressed

The ALTAIR QuickCheck provides a fast and easy bump test for ALTAIR and
ALTAIR PRO Single-Gas Detectors. This easy-to-use test station is available
either with automatic gas delivery system or manual regulator.
All ALTAIR QuickCheck automatic versions are delivered with standard
power supply, automatic regulator and tubing. ALTAIR QuickCheck
Manual versions only come with standard power supply. Regulator and
tubing have to be ordered separately.

This Single-Gas Combustible Detector from MSA has a straightforward
single-button operation which prevents any unintentional operation. The
TITAN also has excellent alarm features with four ultra bright alarm LEDs
[visible from all sides], sweeping frequency horn, flashing alarm flag on
the display and optional vibrating alarm.
TITAN
Extremely durable and reliable – it will stand up to the roughest handling
in the toughest environments.
Moreover, the TITAN is equipped with a MSA 20 L sensor. This sensor pro-
vides a very high poison tolerance, which considerably increases its serv-
ice life. TITAN will take either a NiMH battery pack or an alkaline battery
pack, both of which are interchangeable in hazardous areas.

ALTAIR 4
The ALTAIR 4 is a reliable and compact multi-gas detector with an
extremly durable rubberised housing. It measures O2, H2S, CO and com-
bustible gas. The triple alarm system, 24 hour bump test check-mark and
comprehensive datalogging facility come as standard. Its intuitive 3 but-
ton operation and clear display make the ALTAIR 4 easy to use and its bat-
tery provides a 20 hour run time. ALTAIR 4
ALTAIR 4 is available with the unique option of MotionAlert. The detec-

The ORIONplus is an innovative and highly versatile 1 to 5 sensor gas
detector that can be used e.g. as a personal monitor and for pre-entry
checks. It features a class-leading choice of toxic and infra-red sensors.
The range of toxic sensors available includes ammonia, carbon monoxide,

mum. Once the gas detector is placed in the GALAXY it will be tested,

Chargers & Power Supply

Charging the battery packs of MSA’s portable instruments is made easy by
the comprehensive range of chargers. Charger cradles are available with
an adapter cable that can also be used with a vehicle’s 12 V power supply.
Battery packs can be rapidly charged, with charging time dependant on
battery capacity. Once the device is fully charged it reverts to trickle

Compressors
MSA offers compressors that charge 200 and 300 bar compressed air cylinders at the same time.
The quality of the breathable air meets the specifications of EN 12021.
The range includes models that offer a variety of different features: standard or noise – suppres-
sion enclosures for “superquiet” compressors [64 dB], filling panels with up to nine cylinder con-
nections, air supply from 160 – 450 l/min., compressors with three pressure settings. Other
features include: fully automatic condensate removal and the easy replacement of filter/drying
cartridges.
An operating hours counter or a supplementary humidity monitor indicate when the filters have
to be replaced. Compressors and charging panels are offered with the option of a separate
mounting in accordance with German Standard DIN 14092 [Fire Stations, Respiratory Protective
Equipment Workshops].

TecBOS.Command
The software module TecBOS.Command is an information and communication system for inci-
dent managers. It has been especially designed for the management of disaster areas and for
extraordinary events of all kinds. The automatic monitoring of deployed resources is supported
through the respiratory protection monitoring system, either by telemetric or conventional
means.
TecBOS.Command, amongst other functions, provides support for operational control through
the automated management, documentation and communication of the incident. All processes
are automatically recorded and managed in the incident log. The module "emergency simulation
trainer" helps to optimise incident planning and tactics. Other available functions support public
relations tasks and the post-incident analysis of events.
The interactive tactical map with integrated record and playback functions for example, provides

marked and “ATEX”. If the gas detection

sonal monitor for flammable gases is used as
a safety device to reduce the risk of explo-
sion, it has to be performance approved in
addition to the “ATEX” marking.
