this 71st Republic Day and wish you
Happy Republic Day Today, the entire country celebrates this day with utter enthusiasm and patriotism. Although India attained independence in 1947 from British , It was on January 26th 1950 , when the country adopted its constitution which promises freedom and equality for all. Dr BhimRao Ramji Ambedkar was the chairman of the Constitution Drafting Committee that wrote the Constitution of India. Our Republic was born on this day . Friends, 26 Jan , the day is special as Exactly 20 years before our first Republic Day, on 26 January 1930, our leaders , declared Purna Swaraj — resolved for complete freedom from the British Raj. This day saw the culmination of Heroic struggle of an extraordinary generation of leaders who overcome colonialism to establish world’s largest democracy. They pulled together amazing diversity to build national unity , which has brought us so far. Dr Abdul kalam has said that ,” if a country is to become a nation of beautiful minds ,I strongly feel there are three key societal members who can make a difference. They are Father, Mother and the Teacher”. Today from this platform, on behalf of my friends, I express my sincere gratitude and appreciation to our teachers and parents who continuously strive for nation building . India today is a rising power, a country fast emerging as a global leader in science, technology ,innovation and start ups, and whose success is the envy of the world. Instead of being complacent , we should look ahead. As a citizen of the country , we should think seriously about it and do all possible efforts to lead our nation. “No Nation is Perfect , it needs to be made perfect.”- Responsibility is the price of freedom
