SUGGESTIONS TO PARENTS
1. Parents must encourage their wards to inculcate the habit of reading the newspaper daily.
2. They should also encourage them to read books for example (Hardy Boys, Series of Harry Potter,
David Copperfield etc.)
3. Parents should encourage their wards to write book reviews of the books that they read.
4. Parents should try to converse in English with their wards.
Note to Parents: Kindly ensure that your ward does not miss any exam and prepares for each seriously,
especially the Comprehensive Exam. which prepares the child for Annual Exam.

2. To understand that the corresponding angles are equal by activity method.

4. To find out the sum of the three angles of a triangle.
5. To verify that the exterior angle of triangle is equal to the sum of interior opposite angles.
6. To verify that in a triangle, if two sides are equal, then the angles opposite to equal sides are also
equal.
7. To verify that a triangle can be drawn only if sum of the lengths of any two sides is greater than
the third side, using broom sticks.
8. To verify that in a right-angled triangle, the square of the hypotenuse is equal to the sum of the
squares of other two sides.
9. To determine the value of Pi ( π ) by activity method.
10. To derive the formula of area of a parallelogram.
