The grating is a piece composed of several equal and parallel metallic strips, placed on edge and separated from each
other at common centres, with rods electrowelded at right angles to the load bearing bars providing lateral restraint.
1. BEARING BAR Heat-laminated steel strip, quality in accordance with norm EN 10025 type S 235 JR or
equivalent, with low Si content. Heights vary between 20 and 100 mm in intervals of 5 mm., for thickness of 2, 3, 4
and 5 mm. As the name indicates, this is the element that supports the loads borne by the grating.
2. TRANSVERSE BAR Square twisted or flat rod, quality in accordance with norm une EN 10016-2 type C4D, of
4, 5, 6 and 8 mm. sideways, working as separating part between bearing bars and as a non-slip element.
3. BINDING BAR Laminated strip, of the same quality as the bearing bar, with a characteristic _ _, shape, whose
purpose is to close off the gratings, being electrowelded at the tops of the load-bearing bars.
Also we can supply in any type of STAINLESS STEEL. (exclusive for order or orders accumulation there, no less than
250 m2).

Gutter grids made from electrowelded grating win out over cast
iron types because less area is taken up by the adherence surface. This
means a faster flowthrough so that rainwater and industrial waste are
more quickly evacuated.
