The document calculates the expected profits from crops and animals when turned into artisan goods using preserve jars and kegs. Aging goods like wine in casks further increases their value.

Fruits and vegetables that sell for 50g or more and goods worth 200g or more aged in kegs will provide the highest profits. Preserves jars are best for most efficient profit. Truffles and goat cheese also have very high values.

Aging goods like wine, pale ale, beer, and mead in casks increases their value over time. The longer they are aged, the higher price they can be sold for.

Quality of crop does not impact price of artisan goods (i.e., a regular melon and a gold star melon will make the same jam).
TL;DR: For most efficient profit, always use preserves jar, for maximum profit put 50G+ fruit and 200G+ in kegs
